Cute way to spend an hour and a half, overpriced but fun none the less.

I don't know man, this was kind of disappointing. For everything it does good it does something equally bad, I like the lighting but the sense of atmosphere is all wrong (maybe add darker shadows or fog back?), enemy ui is particularly bad and will either run away constantly or hunt you down until you die with no way to break line of sight but the models are ok? I guess? Honestly the textures are all over the place with no coherent underlying theme with some models overly textured and others kind of bland. Missing sounds like fishing I came across, 2 health bars one at the bottom and one on top of your character, kind of bland ui and not a big fan of the drag and drop inventory system change. Movement is kind of faster it feels than the original game, not better or worse but it's overall kind of clunky with loose feedback when clicking on an enemy or object (floaty feeling feedback with bats in particular, enemies scurry to you so quickly and you can't really stay locked on to them if you use spells or a bow for example). Randomly clipping on objects as well as locking on to them randomly as a bow user is weird if you hold mouse to navigate like me. The originals are beloved because they had a lot of soul, I don't really know how you inject that into a game but it distinctly lacks it. This one needs to cook for a long time if I'm going to be picking it up to play seriously.

The story trudges along, but the dlc were high points for me. The gun play is fluid and I actually love all the crazy legendary guns to find and play around with. The maps honestly kind of feel too big if you're someone who likes to explore the whole map and find all the secrets and extra quests, but overall I enjoyed my playthrough and will eventually go for another when I feel like trying another character in the future.

Now THIS is a hidden gem that shouldn't be, a great point and click flash styled game with cutscenes and choose your own adventure elements that shape the story. Lots of replayability to try all the dialogue options with tie in minigames and gritty humor all around. Do not sleep on this one if you've been wanting to pick it up or looking for something to play.

A genuinely great experience all around with great quest design, immersive story telling and a background world bustling with life with plenty to explore and find. Side quests end up being stories of their own and aren't for nothing with small tie-ins in the end, sound design is rich and gives great ambiance or heightens story elements when needed but isn't afraid to die down when its not. Lives up to the hype I had when wanting to pick it up and the dlc ends up being a great both narrative and gameplay addition to the already great story. Highly recommend playing through this special game.

Very great take on a rouge-like deck building game with an underlying story. Played on steam deck, and ran surprisingly well though official support would make this game so much more playable. After swapping out the controls to the community recommended configuration it's a fun yet challenging way to kill a couple hours figuring out new card combinations and taking risks to reach new highs and new lows.

Random starter isn't so random after all haha. Fun story with a decent amount of endgame content to go through, though I wish it was more varied with less grinding to get to the story segments. My only major peeve with the game is that the character creator sucks, otherwise I highly recommend giving it a play for its takes on a monster collectathon. Dlc is worth the pickup if you see the game through and want more as well.

A little clunky to play, but a blast otherwise. Great casual city builder with a fun premise, could play forever if there was no end.

Sometimes it's nice to flip the script and be someone else's voice in their head
