Really enjoying the start of this game, style of the environment is fun, progression feels good. Combat is present but not the priority (yet). Based on the trailer looks like there will be lots of fun stuff to unlock in the full game.

Fun to play with friends or on my own. Can play for a half hour or 6 hours and always feel like time well spent.

Game is a lot of fun with the unlockables and rogue-like play. While you won't get unlock items in Drizzle, you do unlock characters so I would suggest an easy run before getting a local co-op game together. The first time I ran the game was to play 4 player co-op with little knowledge of the game and 3 others who mainly played Wii U Mario games, Diablo 3 and Borderlands 2 for game nights. After two people died then a third on the first stage with people going off screen and not knowing how to get back up or down, it wasn't fun for them to watch me play without them. A second run didn't go much better and the game was voted off the island. I've been playing it single player since and enjoying it a lot. Hopefully the group will be more amenable with more class choices unlocked rather than getting destroyed as 4 commandos. Otherwise I'm going to need new friends ;)

I keep coming back to play this game with a different build despite the somewhat repetitive nature. I keep finding something new that I haven't seen before and get a good chuckle at the ridiculous monsters and animations. Making yourself extremely overpowered only to be overcome by a weakness you didn't realize you had is always a possibility but that's the risk of complacency.

Starts off slow but I see the potential if I can put in the hours to build an empire. Would have enjoyed this game a lot more when I had a lot of time to devote to each game.
