So far, this game is very impressive. Despite a somewhat low polycount on the graphics, the game is aesthetically pleasing. Thematically speaking, there is the slight sense of terror opening each and every door, entering every abandoned home. You never know what could be waiting for you.

Sadly, there really isnt anything ever waiting for you other than an empty house. Still, there is that "empty house" fear that kinda tugs at you a bit.

As for the survival side of things, I didn't find the game terribly hard. Some mechanics don't seem to make too much sense. With a lit fire, I never saw my warmth level change and I still ate raw meat and saw no option to cook (this could be me being stupid.)

That said, I enjoy this game. Its very similar to the forest/unturned/etc. The survival game movement is definitely getting too big for its own good, but this game is worth the investment.
