Great varied gameplay. Consistent level of polish through the whole campaign. The combat structure is very reminiscent of HL2: EP2 and there were some very memorable fights. Story was good but the writing could've used some polishing.

I would've been happy with a stick figure comic set in the half life universe. Instead I downloaded this and got a professionally made comic with a compelling story. Honest to god I hope the next issue costs money just so I can pay the creators.

If PBS teamed up with NASA to make a game this would be it.

Great game bogged down by unpolished and frustrating elements like unskippable hint boxes and unfair game design.
The only reason the game has a restart level option so prominently featured is to make up for the fact that you can easily ♥♥♥♥ yourself over by getting a box stuck in a corner(which will happen a lot), imagine if in portal you didnt have replacement cubes when you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up and had to restart the level every time.
Other than that me and my friends all had a lot of fun playing this game.
Unlike 99% of the rest of steam games in this price tier Squishy the Suicidal Pig is well worth the 14 to 99 cent price. It's an unpolished gem with an original concept, a funny story, a unique game mechanic, and a pleasing art style. You can tell the creator actually cared about what they were making. With a few bits of polishing this game could easily be sold for 5 to 10 bucks on steam. In the mean time Squishy is still worth buying, if only to assure people that not every indie developer is a talentless hack.
