Excellent tactical RPG that has a very old-school feel, even though it uses the latest DnD rules. The storytelling and character interactions remind me of Dragon Age: Origins, which is a very good thing. You really come to know your party as the game evolves, and I found the voice acting to be top notch. There's a few bugs and quirks here and there, but nothing that prevents me from recommending Solasta most highly. Probably the best single player RPG I've played since Tyranny.

It's a good thing this addition to the Xcom series is cheap, because as it is now it's a buggy unplayable mess. Crashes in missions, bugs with characters and abilities, the list goes on. I'm now completely unable to launch the game at all, worked fine yesterday, and today it errors on launch. Other people reporting the same issue. Avoid until it's even cheaper, and patched.

The game itself is great, the combat and characters feel awesome. However if you're an OCE player I recommend you do not purchase this game as you'll wait forever to find a match. The playerbase is tiny and at this point it's safe to say this game is DOA. Attempted to get a refund and was denied as my playtime was over 2 hours even though the bulk of that time was spent in the queue looking for a match.

One of the best RPGs I've played in a long time. Great story, characters and gameplay. Very highly recommended.
