Brooding and atmospheric RPG, well worth the very generous pricetag, even more when it's on sale.

* Story is kinda open ended and you can do most of the key fights in any order which I'm a big fan of.
* Unique soundtrack I've not really heard in a small indie project, very good at setting the tone and building tension
* Combat is very straightforward and every fight can be beaten in a few tries.
* Level design is very well made, each area sets tone and tension very well.
* Solo Indie project so the game isnt a soulless cash grab.
* Spooky skellingtons

I don't understand why this game gets mixed reviews. The most unrealistic part of this game was having 5 friends.

Absolutely seething about this portrayal of the American woman and I will be speaking to the manager.

The only game where you greatly value what your gun looks like instead of how good you are using it.

Final Fantasy 13 is the most recent installment in the series to be released for PC.

While a controversial game, for many reasons such as it's inability to disguise a mainly linear game and 20-hour long tutorial it also holds ground with a deep combat system that's easy to learn, lifetime to master.

The games follows 6 humans turned into l'Cie, servants of fal'Cie(gods of sorts) to do their bidding and destroy Cocoon. The story picks up immediately into a conflict and throws you straight into action, albeit you mash your mouse button for a while before things get interesting.

Provided you beat the gruelling tutorial-hallway, you are rewarded with an extensive world to explore freely with numerous sidequests and great scenery to accompany it.

[] Linear for a fair amount of time

All in all, I'd say if you are willing to try a game that has a bit of a slow start, you are rewarded with a great storyline, a deep combat system and a fantastic story!
