So, I have to say firstly that I love Doom games. However, a forewarning to those of you running anything newer than Windows 7. This game will NOT run if you have a new operating system. Apparently, it only works up to Win 7 and past that it just gets stuck on the splash screen of the game with no sound, and no keyboard or mouse input being accepted. This obviously makes the game unfortunately unplayable. However there are solutions such as zDoom, which is what I am using right now to relive one of the first shooter games I ever played.

Game is great for the tutorial, past that there is absolutely 0 horror involved and the game turns into a "shoot-everything-that-moves" game.
