Way more fun than I expected. Its been abandoned, but the game in its current state is still really good

Such a hard decision to down vote this. It is such a well made game, the Audio is the best ive ever experienced, I love the immersion, the storytelling, the "Adventure" of it. The first 2/3rds of the game were so frekn good, then it turned into a Button Masher... Almost as if they didnt know what audience they wanted to make this for. The Button Mashers would hate the first part since it is so "Boring". Those who LOVED the whole first part would be confused why they are now in an 80s video game... Take out the Sword Fighting and this would be one of my favorites!

Basically an "Aims Lab" set in the "Aliens" universe. Once you get into the 2nd/3rd chapter, it is VERY H.R.Giger-esque, REALLY, well done, and they explain why it looks "metallic" rather than "biotic" and I approve. The gameplay is fun, a lot more laid back than most shooters, but I think you might need to be a fan of the franchise to really get into it. The weapons really make the game, and the sound of the pulse rifle and the Alien Hiss is exactly out of the movies, so, if you are a fan like me, you will really like that aspect. I dont think they incorporate the "Predators" into this, and you can only play as the Marines, there isnt much of a story narrative compared to say "AVP", but the fact that you can inject "Challenge Cards" and kind of change the game slightly, makes this more "Re-Playable" than other Aliens games I have played.

I guess the devs abandoned this and there are a few bugs and such, but you get sucked into it pretty easy. It is kind of easy to "Blast through it" so you kind of need to slow it down so that it lasts. I wish it was more self explanitory, there are a bunch of "I wish I knew before playing" elements, and by the time you almost figure it out, its over.

Very much like the original Diablo! (maybe a little TOO similar...)

Actually really fun for how small it is. Its like a 3D side scroll, there is only one path, but enough stuff to do to keep you entertained. I thought it was easy enough for my mom to play, but she couldnt grasp the simple concept of move AND jump that is in almost every game since Mario...

Less "Sniper" more Solo Assault Guy with a Scope. Run and Gun, hope the game spawns in enough loot for you to finish the mission. There were too many times where I survived over an hour but didnt get the equipment I needed to finish the level. The gameplay itself is fun, but the frustration of not being given the proper equipment caused me to stop playing

so weird that people are mad at a FREE DLC... yes, you need to level up to rank 7, but, I am glad they give you a few things to work up to, after a few ranks, you run out of stuff, the russians dont have hardly anything so after you get rank 3, there isnt anything to get (for uniforms) (weapons are a totally separate issue, they need to allow you to select your loadout, higher ranks means more slots or better selection)

very fun, almost "Zen" style version of Dishonored. (Zen as in, sit back and have fun with not a lot of stress) there is some "Quick-handedness", but mostly just setting an ambush and waiting for them to get close enough to stab. The maps are WAY smaller than Dishonored so just run around and have fun

Love these (this and Shadow Tactics) this one still has some "features" that they fixed in Shadow Tactics, so play this first so it wont feel like going backwards to a Beta. If you like Hitman, try these out, similar "stealth" tactics but with a team (and Hitman is a FPS style rather than almost a 2D above view) I actually prefer these over Hitman, but they are kind of short, only a couple weeks rather than months worth of playing.
