Fantastic expansion. Beautiful scenery, amazing story, great bosses.

A lot of people are complaining that the dlc is too difficult which it is if you refuse to go looking for the scadutree fragments. They are by far and away more important than leveling up your character normally. I didn't find any of the fights too difficult (most I was able to do first try. The final boss took me the most attempts at 5), but I'm the kinda person who explores everything in an area before doing the boss so naturally i found most of the fragments. Most fragments can be found next to the crosses and in the legacy dungeons. there is a huge cluster of fragments in the shadow keep and the northern tip of the map.

Honestly, while this isn't the type of game I normally play, this should be the standard of games going forward. In other words: this game has actual respect for its players and community. We should be asking for a full experience on launch, that's not unreasonable at all. While I have had the occasional crash or bug, Its honestly no where near the amount that other AAA games have been in the past few years. Its sad that the fact that the developers have actual passion for their game, and they respect the player base enough to release a full game on launch is a rarity. I'm not recommending this for the game play. I'm recommending it for the fact that the game doesn't want to be a money farm, It wants to be a video game.

this content pack is actually a really great edition. All the negative reviews are mostly people who don't like rouge likes or are complaining that you cant bring your gear or that the mode it too different. Its free too so if you don't want to play it, that's fine, but please don't just leave a negative review that just complains that this is different from how the base game works. It just drowns out the actual criticism and feedback.

Probably one of if not the best "rouge like" I've ever played. But honestly you dont need to like "rouge likes" to like this.

one of the most mechanically rich fps games out there. unfortunately the game has been left to rot by valve. while the game is currently in a good state with the bots gone people should be wary. the community is more than welcoming to new players. but let it be known: you should not expect content updates. I'd love to have egg in my face and be proven wrong but at this point people should just expect the game to stay in the state its in till the servers shut down

This game is beautiful. The art style is amazing and the sound track is 10/10. Combat is simple but fun (bullsh*t at times but for the most part good). For the visuals alone this game is worth a playthrough. The biggest drawback for me is the insta death spike pits. Platforming is a bit too clunky and imprecise to have so many of these things. If you're anything like me these punji stiks will make up 90% of your deaths in a playthrough. If you can come to terms with getting use to the clunky platforming, then definitely give this a go. ALSO EXPLORE ALL AREAS. so much of the upgrades and tools are found on side paths the game REQUIRES you to explore. There will be backtracking, unless you wanna miss out on like 80% of the upgrades.
