Story is abysmal. Probably one of the worst and most unfinished stories and cut scenes I have ever seen. Their is no dialogue audio besides one line throughout the entire game. Audio won't play for certain sound effects in cut scenes either. The story blows.
Where the fun is, is with the open world. You basically just run around killing zombies/cannibals while chilling out with friends or your npc companions.
This game is unfinished and to be completely fair, is not worth the $30. I've played the first game "The Forest" through and the only upgrade that's apparent is the graphics. The world does look much better than the first. I'm still going to give this game a thumbs up because it is fun for a little bit, but not $30 fun.
Also it took me and my homies only 10.3 hours to beat the game. And at least half of that time was just us either building a base or messing around. You could most likely beat this game within an hour. VERY disappointing. Here's hoping they make it slightly better in the future.

I was able to try out the early Russian only release around a year ago and it was in a rough state then. I mostly forgot about the game, but heard that it was coming to Steam. Well now here I am and I'm trying it out again.
I'm a major fan of the Stalker series and I can say that Stalcraft is not a bad spin off of the series.
Stalcraft made some major updates that I can see so far to make this immensely more playable right off the rip.
It being free-to-play means you basically have nothing to lose. Try it out, it's pretty neat so far.

Literally the worst thing I've ever played.

Hyper Demon? Devil Daggers? More like Devil DMT.
I honestly never thought we'd ever see another game from Sorath but here we are. Hyper Demon is absolutely the sequel to Devil Daggers and lives up to same quality.
I have put many hours on Devil Daggers just to attempt to get a PB I was happy with. And I feel like I'm about to enter that same addiction again with this game.
Now Hyper Demon is similar to DD, but its more of a "loosely" similar from what I can tell so far.
Runs are very short. And you will be resetting more often than you would in DD. There is not much point to trying to 'recover' a dead or dying run. The point system now in place with Hyper Demon is very interesting. I like that Sorath thought of a new and fresh system than reusing times again I guess.
Hyper Demon has a much faster pace than DD does (Besides very late game DD). Instead of relying on aim and movement as per usual, you will NEED to get aggressive to gain higher scores. Hyper Demon is 0-100 right from the start. As if you were immediately in the late game end loop in DD. They apparently did this to fix the boring wait times of the DD early game such as farming. I think that this is a good change. Not to say I don't still love DD slow game though.

In all I think Sorath is great and has my interest absolutely peaked for this game. Steam steals my money while Sorath gets my game time.
I think that Devil Daggers is harder if I'm completely honest, specifically due to the endurance aspect needed for it. But I haven't played enough of Hyper Demon yet to know that for sure. People are going to attempt to push the limits of this game the same way they did DD.
I'm excited for the future of Hyper Demon and Sorath as a whole. Happy to see them back.
10/10 popped DMT and shot demons.

Edit: I won't spoil the late game for Hyper Demon but I finally got a really "preferable" pb. My final verdict for the game is that it does still slap in the same way that Devil Daggers does. But my main takeaway is that it definitely relies much more on the RNG elements as I stated previously. The structure of Devil Daggers showed me more charm than Hyper Demon, but nonetheless the game is still a 10/10 in my eyes.

Best modern Halo. Emphasis on the 'modern' part of that.

Free to play which can't (really) go wrong.

Reach is the king of the franchise for me but Infinite's doing a good job just being fun.

They need to add swat and grifball soon.

Progression needs an overhaul so you feel more rewarded for doing better/playing more.

There are some optimization problems that lead to bad fps and an awkward mouse acceleration. But turn on limited framerate to slightly under your monitors refresh rate and you will get much better frames, with a very small loss of graphical fidelity. I have a 144hz monitor and i set min fps to 120.

Here's hoping to a good games future!
