This is a great example of "shorter games with worse graphics" I would like to play. The graphics are quite nice though.

There's some technical issues with the cooking mechanics that seem to depend on the device the game is played from. After I fixed those (thanks to the forums), the game was an absolute pleasure to play.

I've already completed all of the of the Killer games on Gamejolt, just want to give the dev some money and positive feedback, because I think it's very much deserved. The games are awesome and the writing is not what you would expect of anything. Go play them.

This is what video games were made for.

Just in case I forget or will be too lazy to write a proper review later, I'll put this one out right now just so that the game I liked could have more positive reviews scores visibility etc.

Thank you, Ron, Dave and the whole gang. Thank you for my childhood and for not forgetting me even now, when my childhood is way behind me. You will always be my dearest friends, even though we've never spoken a word to each other. Cheers and see you on another adventure!

Having thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 games (not counting the Devil's Kiss, which was also pretty cool though), I was a little worried about this one not being primarily focused on adventure-style gameplay anymore and the overall shift to a more platformer-style experience. Well it turns out the game itself is worried about the same thing too, with one of it's main themes for me being "keeping up with the times" versus "staying content with what you know". And this theme is incorporated beautifully with the game itself, the two main characters representing and constantly arguing about those two opposite views. It also hits pretty hard at times, but still stays humorous (like that one level sigh).

For me this is a much more mature work than the previous games, but I am now more mature as well, so it works out I guess. Besides, the humor is still there, albeit a bit adjusted for the times, which is fine. It's still funny and clever, as are the puzzles, which I do not want to spoil, but do not know how to otherwise comment on. The same rule of "examine everything to get additional clues" from the previous games applies here as well. It's great.

In the end, I was not disappointed. I was very much entertained and had a little bit to think about. Which is more than I could ask from a videogame these days.

If you loved the old LucasArts adventure games and desperately earn for more, then you probably definitely should play these 2 games as well. The developers seem to understand the adventure genre very well, cleverly referencing and playing with the genre tropes in both games. The humor is outrageously good (at least to my taste) and the attention to detail is astounding. I was honestly impressed with how many of the "use item on thing" interactions have unique (and funny) responses written for them and not just the usual "That doesn't work!" The puzzles are well-explained and enjoyable, sometimes playing with the media itself, making you think outside the box, breaking the 4th wall and all that. If you get stuck, you can usually exmine or try to combine some stuff you haven't tried before and that would provide additional clues, which is really good design imo.

All in all, great games, great fun, go play them.

It is short, sad, but beautifully surreal. Just the way I like it.

You can wear hats in this game. And, well... find more hats to wear.
