best gundam game in a long time. it's like a more arcadey version of armored core. you can mix and match different gundam parts to form an absolute monstrosity

lots of quality of life improvements, like the mantling system, and i really enjoy the post-apocalyptic vibe. looks like there's 100+ missions like the last game, with a massive armory spread across four diverse classes. looks and plays like previous titles, which is to be expected with this series. 10/10 EDF game, which is like a 7/10 game in the grand scheme. one thing i will say, though, is that the repeated use of sickening and grotesque imagery in this series is still prevalent. i'm fine with killing some of the enemies, as they have many legs and look completely alien. but this game starts off with killing enemies that always drives a pit into my stomach. truly gut churning. i mean just look at them, they look just like us

It's like Smash Bros (a little of Melee, little of Ultimate) mixed with M.U.G.E.N. and it is incredible. It's a bit buggy, needs a lot more options for customizing gameplay (player indicators sometimes cover your own character) and the workshop has a few broken characters, but it is a ton of fun. I haven't tried the character creator tools yet, but they look incredible if you don't even care about the game and want to make your own. Looking forward to what else they add.
