Firstly, I'm writing this review with 9 hours logged. Certainly not the most, but at least enough to give a fair and honest take on the game from my experience so far.

Granted I did read several reviews before I bought the game and had watched a few dozen youtube videos beforehand, so I 'sort of' knew what to expect going into the game...eyes open so to speak.

From the get go the feel is 'panic stations', even in the tutorial. The game effectively throws you in at the deep end and for good reason. It's certainly not a game for flappers of those faint of heart. You are going to have to have your whits about you and put on your big boy or girls pants, and yup that means its not a game for everyone.

I won't lie, the game is brutally punishing and it took up to 8 hours for me to feel like I wasn't constantly drowning. Sure the levelling up in order to get new traits helps, but its also not going to make 'you' any better, if you catch my drift. You are literally going to have to put time and effort into learning this game, how to avoid danger, navigate enemies, and sus out situations on the fly.

I will say that although the majority of my time has been input thus far alongside one or two other friends at a time, I feel it is suitable for a solo player, if, as I say, a little manic.

The only issue I would say is that it does feel like it needs a easy mission setting for anyone looking for a little more 'chill' to the enhance their enjoyment, since I know I sure would, even if that came at a cost of reduced experience or vanity box drops.

Short but incredibly sweet!

I've played all the games within the We Were Here franchise and can honestly say that this little ditty has contained some of my favourite content thus far. I do love all the games, but The FriendShip in particular leaves me wanting more...or at least a recreation of it's content at a real life theme park!

Great stuff TMG! Keep it up

Early Access Review
Great game. I love the aesthetic, setting and overall concept. Generally speaking I have very little negatives to say about the game itself. What I would say however is that the game prior to the 'Plunder' update felt really well put together, balanced and had great gun-play with fairly equal shoot-outs with both players and NPCs.

Sadly with the introduction of the 'Plunder' update there seems to have been a sharp rise in one shot kills and head-shots, usually at range with the Uzi or godly rapid bolt action type gun fire with little to no recoil or pull. Far from me to say that there are suspicious players in the game, not at all. I would however warn anyone thinking buying the game who is easily frustrated.

Certainly there are still many great shoot-outs to be had with other players, trading damage in a what feels like a honest game play...it's just a little tainted by a fair few players who must be the lost brethren of Shroud, his outright clones or his sown oats to many a fair maiden!

*Edit: Regardless of helmet level it appears to always feel the same (5, 7 or 11 etc), to the point where my friends and I have witnessed other teams coming in without helmets because they obviously feel the same.

Great game, issues aside. Because I'm not a sweat neck-beard crybaby I appreciate that the devs are working hard and love them for it and their game.

Jankier than a jankosaurus rex made out of jank! You'll clip into objects that you're not mean to be inside, before being dropped at great speed back to the ground. Falling is one thing, especially when it's player error, but bad collision detection is another.

After 180+ hours you'd have thought I'd have been pressing 'yes' to the recommend but I am not.

Warframe is a great game, don't get me wrong. I've had many great hours of enjoyment playing the game with friends and other fellow Tenno / Operators. There is a massive downside and this is what the recommend function is all about...it's too much of a time sink.

For a new or returning playing there is just too much story content to catch up on, some of which you may have missed the point on being able to do either others and so you may have to try struggle on through or give it a wide birth. There is the added bonus of the single player content (missions when you aren't allowed to group up) which hammers you senseless, attempt, after attempt, after attempt...and yes the point of the game is very much about progression but any game where there are solo content there's always a way around the content without having to go back to farm another frame up to max, different guns etc, that is where the fun gets lost.

Warframe HAS always been a farming game but it isn't going to shout that from the rooftops to you. So if you like myself like the occasional bit of teamwork but also solo then YES the game is for you, but if you also don't like banging your face against a very solid brick wall for hours on end trying to catch up on content or even complete solo content then it might be worth to look elsewhere for your fun.
