No, it's not as good as Dying light 1. The story for the first half is kinda meh, Spike being the only returning character was underwhelming, the environment looks kinda ugly (except the sky, that got a major upgrade), if you have a slightly outdated pc you'll be stuck playing with upscaling on which makes the visuals unpleasant to look at, the OST is a smidge weaker than Pawel Blaszczak's work on the first game, but overall it was a fun time. New mechanics are nice, i prefer the new hook, glider's fun, there's more stuff to do... What i'm saying is: you'll essentially need a powerful pc to enjoy the game to the fullest. (yeah i know, no ♥♥♥♥)
