Cool story for a lazy afternoon. Quite short, but entertaining. Wouldn't pay full price but definetly get it on a sale.

Great simple game

It's an enjoyable racing experience but it falls short on most important parts of a good game. Menu navigation cannot be done by the buttons on your wheel (using a thrustmaster T150, don't know about others), so you'll have to reach for the keyboard all the time. Maybe not a problem for most, but if you're going for a full-on simulator or if it's no good.

The graphics are good but nothing mind blowing. What'll get you on the techical side is the way this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ application messes with your system. It will reset your background if you open it. It turns my keyboard backlight off when I exit the game. You can't switch audio playback devices while it's running. So basically it's a collection of weird bugs.

Carrer is about as plain as a white shirt, you get to choose to start from a few different stages and you advance through them as you win. Never really been interested in a career mode at all, so a neutral mark for that.

The driving itself is enjoyable as I said, but that also has some problems. Either traction control can not really be turned off, or the P1 hasn't got enough power to do a wheelspin.

The track selection is big enough, but it's missing a lot of cars. Think about a car you'd really want to drive. It is the P1 or the Huayra? Great! You can do that. Is it anything else? Bad luck mate. You get the P1, F1, some formulas, some Le Mans concepts and some random mediocre cars by default. Then they've opted for the EA approach and locked the more interesting cars into DLCs. But even if you swallow your pride and buy the DLCs, you don't get any Ferraris, Lambos, Lexuses, Nissans, etc. The one thing that kinda saves that are the bootleg Porsches, but that's not enough to make a racing sim.

So overall, with Project cars' lack of uhh... cars and the plentitude of annoying bugs, I can't reccomend it. Especially since they released a sequel before finishing this one.

Very entertaining, good progression & crafting systems, non repetitive side quests and all around very good.

Relaxing and challenging at the same time. Great time killer

I love this game, I have most of the DLCs and still come back for more every few months. But, I start to lose love for a game when companies start to add ads and useless launchers to their game years after release

And I especially don't love it when the launcher fails to install and softlocks me from playing the game. GG Paradox, way to make me never spend another dime on your software again.

You know what GTA is.

The review is negative in protest of Rockstar's various ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practices of implementing kernel-level "anticheat" (in quotes because it does not actually prevent any cheaters from playing the game) and forcing their god awful launcher, to monetizing every last corner of the game. Some cars in this game cost ~$50 of real dollars to purchase. For a single in-game vehicle.

It's fun. Get it while it's on sale but don't expect too much. It just doesn't have the charm JC2 had and the performance is still ♥♥♥♥ on some systems. Seems to work fine with mine, but other people are reporting problems.

Major cons: The map is huge, but it feels empty. The driving mechanics are awful. Taking over bases is repetitive.

Major pros: Good flying & grappling mechanics, nice graphics (if you can get it to work properly), lots of mindless fun just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about and blowing ♥♥♥♥ up.

Also a great game to let friends play if you have nothing else to do. Pretty much everyone will enjoy the first hour or so.

Really good, I can go fully without the mouse and keyboard because of this application. The typing is a bit slow, but it's ok for what you need on a htpc.

Fun to play as a couch multiplayer. Graphics are nothing special, but not bad. All the problems people had at launch are fixed (or so it seems to me). I wouldn't say it's worth 60€, but surely pick it up when it's on sale.
