Cute game for a lazy afternoon. It's a bit short but nonetheless enjoyable, with puzzles that are just the right difficulty to make you go "aah, that makes sense" when you figure it out, but not too hard to require looking them up on the internet. Great artstyle too.

Honestly, you're gonna need the gathering storm DLC to get the full experience. The base game feels like a demo mode for what civilization should be, so count that into the price. Once you buy that it's a good game that'll suck you in for days.

60 fps lock. Wouldn't reccomend it just because of that. The graphics are sub-par at best, even for 2016 standards, which just adds to the bad experience.

The game is naturally hard, but what is most dissapointing, it's also actively trying at every step to convince you "oh this is a *serious* game, don't take me lightly. For example, you want to pause to try to figure out why it looks like crap and it's only at 60fps? Well too bad you, you can't pause so you'll be dying every few seconds while you mess with settings.

Wish I could still get a refund.

With the latest DLC release the developers felt the need to go back to the base game and implement bugs into stuff that has worked perfectly since early access.

Bought 2 years after release, it's a good game now and it's still improving. Definitely buy if it's on sale.

Just an infurirating experience overall. It never works as you'd expect it to.

And the developers just release a sequel instead of fixing anything.
