This game is great fun for anyone who likes racing and/or crashing. In current state it's only wotrh purcashing if it's on a sale, because it only has a few cars and tracks.

The physics are very good, but nothing revolutionary, but I'm not gonna talk about that too much because the deveropers say (on the forum) that a big update for physics is being worked on.

What is really missing is a local multiplayer mode (splitscreen), but there has been a pool about it on bugbear's site and most people voted yes, so it is safe to say that it will be featured in an upcoming update. But it has online multiplayer, so you can play with friends who have bought the game.


The graphics are alright, except for the AA, which can only be turned on or off, and it looks like 4x MSAA if not even 2x.

The game needs some optimization, as it runs much under 60fps on max settings on my i5 (3570, stock speed) and a 760 (1250MHz OC). But the problem only seems to appear when there are 20+ cars in the race, so I guess it's partially beacuse of the physics engine, which is under heavy development.


The menu is nice, but it could use some work. For example, it would look good if the part changing menu would show a 3D model of the part you're selecting (engine, wheels). But that isn't really a game changing feature and it will probably be added when work on the game is nearing completion.

The thing that I really don't like is the launcher. It just makes the game harder to use with big picture and therefor you can't play it in the living room where I imagine I'll be playing it most. But that might be just my opinion.


Many people comment on how the devs abandoned the game, but they seem to completly ignore the latest forum post which can be found on the community page of bugbeargames.com. [community.bugbeargames.com] Posted on 27. february 2015, the devs talk about new gamemodes and physics, so the game is far from abandoned. One of the devs, Jori Virtanen, confirmed that the update will include: "The Massive Physics Upgrade/update, Two New Game Modes, More Tracks, and yes, there'll be more, too, but nothing that major. We're working on new cars and tracks, but I'm unsure how much of those will be ready in time. But, there'll be plenty of other stuff that is already in the new build, like being able to change tracks and cars from the lobby."


The game in its current state isn't much, but if the promised updates come, it will become one of the major racing games. It will meet the standards for graphic fanatics if they fix the poor AA. Should you buy it? Yes, if it's on a sale for something like 15€, otherwise wait for some updates and then check it again. Early access is a lottery so in 6 months it might be just another game with wasted potential or a top seller.

You may expect a cheap ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game (as I did), but you are wrong - this is one of the best co-op shooters for a unreasonably low price.

Futuristic soilders fighting dinosaurs is a weird combo, but it turns out great. Well-balanced classes, weapons and enemies is the most important part of a shooter, and this game has it. It's a little bit confusing at the beggining, but when you get used to it it's a easy to play.

The only thing I dislike is the heavy GPU usage. It maxes out my 760 and only gives about 70fps, which is about the same as I get in BF4. The graphics are not something amazing, but good enough to not ruin the experience.

Overall, this is an amazing game, well worth the 80 cents it costs. The developers are great people, pricing this game at such a low price, while it is surely worth at least 5x more and I respect that very much. Will be buying more copies for friends!

Best co-op game IMO! Great job valve, this is certaly the most addicting zombie game I've ever played.
