Not worth full price if you just want to play through the plot (it's very short). But if you want to go around annoying people as a horrible goose, it's a great sandbox.

A+ to game devs for making it so you can re-map the keys, including making it so you don't have to use a mouse.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hated this game. Lots of random clicking, sitting, and not getting any of the darkness we’d expect regarding the author of “In the Penal Colony.” Instead it’s boring, fluffy, and so slow to sit through can’t even force myself to get all of the achievements even though I know how.

Did anyone else love the song for the predator challenges and find it a good one to listen to at work? It's great if you want to feel intense and badass, but awkward if someone comes in while your face is at Batman level of intensity.

I feel a bit like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for liking this game and its premise as much as I do. But then the theme music starts and I don't care anymore.

Ed to add: They removed the main theme for some reason. It's the best. Hunt it down on YouTube as "Party Hard Main Theme." It's awesome

So addictive that if I keep it downloaded on my computer I will start playing it every time I see the shortcut, even if I'm currently playing another game.

Don't be fooled by the time Steam shows. I owned for a long time on CD Rom and uninstalled it because it was too fantastically addictive. Now it's on Steam, I've bought it and played it yet again, had to unistall again and I keep wanting to redownload it so I can hear the screams of other civilizations as I crush them.

Must resist. I have other games to play. But one day I will reinstall and the screams will haunt my homestead again.

First: This game is an RPG, but those wanting a massive RPG that requires 30+ hours running around exploring detailed maps while grinding for levels and hunting for the next plot advancement probably won't be satisfied with "The Yawhg." That's not to say this isn't a good game; it is simply a different type of RPG. This is a short, stat-building, choice based game resulting in multiple outcomes for each charater. Also, the better the outcome of the character or characters (you can play 2-4) the more likely the town will survive after the devestation you know is coming.

The game is only a few rounds, so if you're playing with only one character it is very short, and it can still be beated in under an hour even if you choose to play with (the maximum) four characters. That being said, it has great replay value since it's delightful to go through the game a few more times to find other options and different results stemming from alternate decisions made during your training -- not to mention the final outcomes for characters, which change based off of your choices leading into the end of the game.

Finally, it's worth noting several sitautions and character endings are delightfully grim, which made me happy.

I recommend it, and will toss it to my friends, but I admit I didn't break down to buy it until it was on sale since it is a shorter game and I'm a cheap, horrible person sometimes.
