While I have yet to finish the game, I can without a doubt say it is worth picking up. My wife and I both got a copy and play together online. The co-op element of the game is outstanding and for those who played Until Dawn or other story heavy/ choice's matter games (tell tale's walking dead, the wolf among us, batman) will find it as an excellent addition to the genre's newest franchise. Pick it up you won't be sorry!!!

Not Bad but it feels like more like an expansion pack then a whole new game. It's a fun play but i suggest you pick it up for sub 20 dollars or you might feel like you over paid to be under served./

I wanted to like this game but couldn't. Controls felt clunky and the story just didn't hook me. Graphics are ok but nothing special. A lot of folks like this game so if this game sound like your thing from the other reviews/trailers I might still give it a try if you find it on sale. Beyond that I can't recommend it.

A wave shooter that somewhat reminds me of old light gun shooters such as House of the Dead and Area 51. You get one position and you must hold it down against an onslaught of nightmarish creatures. The story telling could use some work. While it isn't entirely without substance, some of the delivery is a bit bland. I would like to see this series evolve further. After playing some VR FPS with like Arizona Sunshine and Serious Sam VR The First Encounter, I hope any sequels will borrow some of their ideas on local motion to offer a more immersive world. Regardless if you enjoyed old light gun games (video game or old gallery style) I encourage you to check this game out.

It's not a great game but for a cheap price it's fun enough, especially if you don't have motion controls/room scale. The Purge Day is a great one to let your friends try out VR without getting into an hour+ game session.

So far next to Arizona Sunshine...this is an excellent FPS for VR and my second favorite FPS for VR. If you loved the old school shooters and are looking for something in VR buy this game. Aim is perfect in this game unlike many other VR games when shooting 15-25+yards...your bullets go excatly where you expect them too. And you need those bullets going where you put them as the levels are huge and some shots are quite far. With all the full scale levels and good local motion (tele-port, strafa-port, or for those with a hardened gut good old school WASD). I won't go in to great detail as this game is just a re-release of Serious Sam with VR in mind but know it is well worth the purchase price. Also it uses SLI which is very nice and extremely rare in VR. Bugs are few and had you not told me I would not have guessed it is in early access. Buy with confidence,

I just got my Oculus Rift wih room scale/motion controllers for Christmas (the wifey is a saint) and I have not had a chance to play all my VR games as of yet...So far Arizona sunshine is by far the best FPS for VR. Though Serious Sam the First Encounter for VR is a close second. In Arizona Sunshine you truly feel emersed in a desert zombie apocalypse. With plenty of loot and places to explore, you will not be disappointed. While I have some complaints about pistol aim at a distance, as a whole I am quite happy. Shooting anything over 15-25 yards away, regardless of how good your aim is, seems erratic at best as far as where your shots go. I grew up shooting so before you think, "this dude's aim just sucks", know that is not the case. If I can drop an elk free hand at 700+ yards through the neck in a dead run a slow moving zombie should be no problem. To be fair I have noticed it is an issue in many VR FPS games but not all. Serious Sam for example does not have this issue at all. Your shots go exactly where you aim them. Regardless the aim does play well in to the nature of the game as you have to let the zombies get fairly close. Once they do head shot after head shot is a very enjoyable experience. The sound a skull makes when a bullet spits it in half is very, very satisfying. To top it off with tons of cars, droors, cabinets and everything else you can loot from, there is never a dull moment in Arizona Sunshine. If you love FPSes then get this one right now!!!

This is an very good FPS. While it may appear at first glance to be an old school run and gun, it is not. Cover and retreat to regain health are essential. Think Halo meets Gears of War with a side of COD. It's not the best FPS out there, multiplayer servers are dead but a solid single player campaign makes the game worth while. Whether you lay waste to aliens with a machine gun, pull out the pistol to make head shots, or scavanging an alien weapon the game play is fast pace and quite enjoyable. One thing to be wary of as it is a fairly difficult game do not just load up the hardest difficulty level and assume since your an experinced FPS player that you will be fine. I started at the meduim setting and found it to be challenging enough for even the most seasoned players. If you find a good deal on it don't hesisitate. It even plays well at 4K with no issues with text/menu scaling like some games.

best Doom single player campaign yet of the franchise IMHO. Multiplayer not so much. Is good but multiplayer on the orignal doom and doom 2 were better.

Love that the single player campaign referances every doom game made so far tying in all the story lines to one legendary warrior that all of hell fears!

One of the best action RPGs of the last 4 years on PC. Very long game with an epic story line, excellent fight mechanics, great blacksmithing/crafting, fun DLC....pick it up now!!! You won't be disappointed.
