If you are looking for a good Torchlight experience: install Torchlight 2 and play that instead. This is not it chief.

Crack cocaine in a form of a card game

You are a blob in a well full of animals and secrets. The game is oozing with atmosphere, really dig the style and feel of it. Short and sweet. Surprisingly deep game with lot to explore even after the "main plot" is done.

People who like the game: "There are dozens of us! Dozens!". And I'm one of them.

Gameplay is really fun and the presentation is superb. Guns and abilities feel great, even tho the characters themselves are pretty bland. People keep comparing it to Destiny 2 and I can see why as the movement and gunplay feel really similar.

The biggest hurdles are the price, the lack of polish that other more popular hero shooters have and then the player base. Don't know how well this was received by Playstation users, but let's face it, 700 players on a launch day is a big oof.

Here is me hoping that the game will have some longevity as I really enjoy playing it, but I'm not holding my breath. It might face the same fate as the original Gigantic did (which I liked a lot as well).

You can grapple hook, delete walls and spin your character in the pre-game lobby. Also the music slaps ✨

As a souls veteran, it's everything I ever wanted. I love it.
