Think Spec Ops, think 'Apocalypse Now'. A pretty good third person shooter in my opinon. The graphics are quite good and even the famous locations in Dubai and various other story elements have been accurate so far as I have been playing. That shows good research. All this I know because I have lived in Dubai for a number of years. The only grating issue I have is the use of Hindi as the language instead of Arabic which is the normal dialect in the Middle East.

Spec Ops also keeps you second guessing the impact your actions have (even though there are no RPG elements); never really knowing who to trust or who your real enemy is and whether your sanity is still intact. The gameplay and story line keeps one immersed and intirigued with the building tension to save your squad or a split second decision on when or who to attack. Yes, 'split second' looks like the key word here.

This game is very much recommended if you are interested in shooters. I am glad I bought this game.

I have been playing Fallout from part 3 and I did find Fallout NV something refreshing and not like the Vault Boy stereotype. New Vegas gave more enrichment to the game saga with info on the "Brotherhood Out West" and details on the origin of various wasteland species ( specific to NV though).

The only change to the series is the change in possible endings - none of them, in my opinion, is quite satisfactory, yet not all that bad if you think about it. Possible spoiler: Fallout 3 fans love the Brotherhood of Steel of the Capital Wasteland and the possible extinction of the NV chapter of the BoS in the possible endings do not go down well. I am sure that is the bitter pill in all this even though both Chapters are quite different in their ideologies. The BoS in FNV is closest in comparison to th Capital Wasteland Outcasts.

The new species and communites (including Jacobstown which is quite a good addition to the story if not very expansive towards storyline ) and the major factions trying to grab power in the Mojave forces the player to step carefully while choosing allies and making various decisions that affect the outcome of this story.

The DLCs are...well...okay, I guess. Not very major or something to rave about but sits comfortably with the main storyline.

The only reason why I have an isane 700+ hours in this game is because of the Fallout community and modding. Get yor character to play as Deadpool or the Terminator. Better yet - Chuck Norris! Have Mass Effect Cerebrus textured sentry bots. Heck, have your own pet Death Claw who can carry out a conversation with you or let him loose to rip your enemies to shreds. With modding, this game has taken off with a new lease of life.

The only issue with the Fallout games is that they are quiet buggy and tend to freeze or just plain crash. For this there are mods and various solutions.

Anyway, come what may, I am still a big fan of this series and recommend this game.
