One of few games where, after an initial time sink, I keep coming back for the daily challenge. Not for loot, or skin points, etc. Just to discover how a new combination of variables changes the gameplay of a 20-40 minute session.

Almost a year later now, and when I'm really in the mood for good gaming, the daily challenge keeps creeping back into my rotation.

Evocative.

I find myself humming the soundtrack at work, thinking about what new build to try once I get home. Somewhat dreading that 400+ hours will shortly be 1,000+ hours. Very content at having found the gem among rocks.

"It's the journey that matters, not the destination."

Nah. Give me the destination. Battlerite takes away the early and mid phase of your typical MOBA and throws you straight into that final battle. I was a pretty poor main Taric in League of Legends, and I'm certain I'll be an ever poorer player in Battlerite, what with its focus on skill shots, but am thoroughly enjoying the back-and-forth battles in Battlerite's 2v2 mode so far.

After a few thousand hours of League of Legends, the first day I played Sins was the last day I played LoL. In early access, I'm enjoying trying out multiple roles, as the (still small) community seems much more pleasant and much more forgiving of new and/or lesser skilled players. Getting to play with the developers in-game, and being able to ask questions and/or give suggestions is something that will likely only be possible during this early access stage. Once they release this game to the public, that chance will be gone. Queue times can be long (due to fact that Ironclad hasn't really publicized it yet), but the $5 you'll spend on this will more than make you forget about the one or two beers you will have to skip for it.
