Feels like stalker already, after prologue start open world, finding pdas with marked locations and stashes but also more like clear sky where there are still stashes around that dont require a pda find first to unlock.

Game is massive, cant believe how much their is to explore, and mods are already dropping. There are some bugs, but if you want a game you'll be able to play for 1000 hours this is it.

Great, if you're struggling go look around for the dlc specific upgrades. Bosses scale with you so maybe sucks for OP maxed out characters but my 150 (now 153) faith dual scythe build going strong

Main story is good, burned myself out on side quests because I was being ocd about doing all of them and farming pets but the main appeal is the setting but the combat is pretty fun as well.

Back after beating game and 100%

Game is basically a looter shooter.

There are dialogue prompts based on perks and traits taken that can 'win' arguments like in new vegas that people seem to care about.

Traveling between planets to star systems or different planets are basically glorified random event spawners. There are a lot of them but you will start to see repeats depending how much you play.

Music is good, gameplay is fo4 and choices matter as much as they do in NV where you get your own little slideshow at the end.

Now for some tips for someone starting out I wish I knew starting out.

If you want to smuggle you have to build shielded cargo on your ship, most people wont sell this so options are gonna be getting arrested (you'll figure it out) or finding the red mile who sell these at ship builders.
You'll also want to look through and find a jammer which you can level up with your ship perks ranks.

Ship has barely any distance even for places you've been so you need to add fuel storage in order to increase the range and reduce tedium.

Perks for mining, herb and zoology mean when you harvest you don't increase the returns but you spawn new materials they didn't even have so taking it early makes getting some resources easier.

If you want to start ryujin questline get some points in stealth for best experience.

A lot of the repeatables are the same, and that goes for the random outpost quests too but the quests you hear from guards walking around (usually) are more unique and can be fun to do.

Cargo links suck, but the trick is to set up 3 or how much points you have into the perk bases in one system, then connect them with inter cargo to your main base. (if you're going base route) Another option I found was on my next playthrough downloading richer merchants which allowed me to buy almost all my materials making the game feel more like morrowind where it's money gen focused.

EMP gun + missles are sick nasty on ship, if you rank up EMP you can rng permastun ships then blow them up with missles.

All I can think of for now, Sarah was the only character I ran with, she was cool the rest I couldn't remotely try to care about.

I went security early and most loot is garbo, but it does help with quests occasionally.

If you know bethesda games you know what to expect, this is fo4, you walk into towns sometimes events are happening or fights, you overhear quests from guards (one thing I'll say is it has way more random quests from npcs you can do in comparison), find special locations in books, audio logs, notes, main story can be started and ignored for hours (i recommend doing vanguard if nothing else as #1 story on factions).

All i got for now might redo later

Gameplay is good, this hassome interesting build options. Conversations hit or miss, many bad voice actors so far.

think optimal way to play is turn on subtitles so you can read and skip most dialogue, I ended up skipping convos before I never see until I did it. Might be worth to check if you can change the voice to another language too and treat it like a anime

worth $5, play with youtube in background most of time and just shoot stuff and loot, multiplayer co op is actually pretty fun but rng, you'll have to grind at lot to get the better characters and to boost their rank

Origin sucks (required) but games are good

3/21

Origin no longer needed, now need EA play. Pro tip, launch when you get to game select menu tab out and set EA play to offline, achievements will fix.

Short but story is engaging. worth at least 1 play for sure, there are some choices you can make to make repeats feel different though but I won't be doing that.

Story setup multiple layups that did have satisfying conclusions.
