This is what Tropico 5 should have been.

espionage is aids. enemies get ridiculous tech and economic advantages over you. "Osirian Star Killer" complete trash mechanic that you can't turn off. I could go on much more.

Needs a less tedious way to obtain the buildings I know I want in a province because that gets taxing if you want to fight off rebellions in the late game. I am talking about culture buildings that don't increase decadence. There are plenty that do and I don't want the AI building them which will cause tons of revolts but going through each province takes FOREVER.

In the current state this game is incredibly frustrating to play.

I am a huge fan of games like Gnomoria, Banished, and Rimworld but this game is nothing like those other than the presence of villagers and buildings. I tried for 4 painful hours to make this not seem like what it is, which is a glorified tower defence game.

The spells are absolute garbage. Want to help your villagers defeat waves of mobs? Well you can either burn every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing around your cursor, or call down a meteor and blow up then burn every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing around your cursor.

I hope there is a drastic rework to this game.

I am not one to sell a game to people that have no experience with it so this will be geared towards those that played when Wurm was f2p and had since quit, but may be looking to purchase the game now that it is on sale/a one time fee.

I played this game many years ago when there were very limited features and graphics due to constantly getting in trouble for playing it and ignoring my schoolwork in middle/high school. I also couldn't at the time afford the premium fees to access the full game.

I returned yesterday because I am now in college and have a bunch of schoolwork I need to procrastinate on and have to admit that this game feels so much more complete to me. The graphics are so much better, and there seems to be so much more content. Notably so is the crafting window.

Anyways if you are like me and have played this game in the past I would suggest giving this another go; Especially since it feels so much more complete. The community still exists and there are active servers with skill boosts to prevent you from having to grind as much as you would in vanilla.
