in my city this is cheaper than a boba so really the opportunity cost here was a no brainer

While I'm only 8 hours in, this game has made it to one of my favorite games that i've played in the last few years at LEAST. The characters are memorable, the gameplay is familiar (and fun), and the writing and story are engaging and feels like it would also be successful in a TV/animation episodic format. Not to mention the art and character design as well! There's a lot of depth here and choices to make - wouldn't sleep on this one if you enjoy that zelda exploration/puzzle genre.

the first pokemon game i played was arceus so i don't know how this compares to the older ones but if it's anything like this one i can see how pokemon became super popular and has way more depth than i was giving it credit for

It's an epic. I didn't even get the tutorial for double jump until an hour in.

there's nothing wrong with it per se, the swordfighting is actually quite interesting. Just in a market post-RDR2, Cyberpunk, Assassins Creed 3 and on really...it just seems really weird to have an open-world game where you can't actually jump or climb anything

This is the first time I wished I had much more time to "live" in the world everyone is so sweet and nice
