I think it's the first pixel puzzle, and it shows, It's easier than the later ones.
The pieces are already in the correct position so you don't need to rotate them.
The pictures are nice, but sometimes a bit blurry.

The biggest culprit, the 220 puzzles are a nightmare to do, you try to pick a piece from the pond (when there are still a lot of pieces) and it's always the wrong piece.. Reading the forums, this has been a bug for a long time and has never been fixed (that's really bad as it should have never even be this crap)... But as another user says, the easiest is with these 220 puzzles, to not drive you insane, is to just put the wrong piece on a pile on the edge of the board and dump them later back into the pond..
Mind you this only seems to happen with the 220 puzzles, all the others don't really seem to have this problem.

Another minor point is the two extra 220 puzzles above and below the 350 one, if you finished them, they stay greyed out..

I bought this when it was on sale for 1.40 euro, and I think that's a good price, but I can't recommend it full price due to the annoying bug (and the fact the developers haven't fixed it even though they have released a couple of other pixel puzzles after that one).

Just finished my second Pixel Puzzle (first one was the anime version).
To start with the bad:
- background.. it isn't a one plain color background which makes it sometimes hard to put your puzzle pieces.
- crabs: not being able to turn off the crabs is a real annoyance, in anime I liked the pixie, but you had the option to enable/disable her. And the basket to put them in is also obscuring a large part of the 'pond'.
you put the crabs into the basket to get extra options like ghostimage/position the piece etc..
But I never used those options as I like to do it all by myself.
- floating buttons: I found those annoying as they also obscured pieces..
- some of the images (with the smaller pieces puzzles) have too large out of focus parts, or even too many the same type of birds (one where a lot of pinguins).. It would have been better to have those images have larger pieces..

But the puzzles themselves are fun to do (sometimes a bit frustrating as I point out above), but I do like the floating pieces as it gives another gameplay dimension to the puzzle..
If you like the anime version you'll propably like this one too..
I bought it in a bundle with the anime version and some other games too for only $2, but I would certainly recommend it for around $1-$2 per game, but not the 9 euro's it normally is for this game or 5 euro for the other versions.. So I'll wait until those are also on sale..
hmmm. and just when I typed this review, I see zombie and japan on sale for 1.40 euro each.. so just bought those too..

Really liked this puzzle game, it's fun and the images are great (I like Anime)..

I don't understand why some people seem to nag about needing dust for rotating the pieces, you don't need dust for rotating the pieces, you can just use the mousebutton for that. Yeah you need dust if you want it to automatically rotate to the correct position..
Also some people seem to hate the imp, but you can just turn her off with <delete> (or use the option)..
And there is a save function, if you leave the puzzle, and come back later, it's still as you left it, any loose pieces you left on the board are floating again, that's all.
And the floating pieces makes the game more interesting, at least to me, it adds another dimension..
The only thing I didn't like was not being able to hide the dust container on the left, as I didn't want to use it and it sometimes obscures some floating pieces..

There is one thing I have to agree with, sometimes you only need to be almost a whole piece away from the correct spot and it'll click into that spot.. I would not have minded if there was an option to set the 'autolock' to a much smaller range..

But all in all, it's a great puzzle game, and I wasn't even annoyed by the little imp, I even missed her when I accidently turned her off with <delete> and there is no way to restore her (until the next puzzle) if you pressed it accidentally..

To be honest, I bought this game in a bundle with Pixel puzzle 2: birds (which I propably won't like as much due to the images) and some other games on indiegala for only 2 euro's..

Played it on Windows 8.1 x64 (latest nvidia drivers) and I had no problems starting the game, played it in the 16:10 setting with 4x antialiasing (there were sometimes graphical glitches during the game (like characters walking through the backgroundplate or animations playing at the wrong position), and it did quit once when I tried to go to another location, so be sure to save your game every now and then)..

The game itself is quite fun if you like these point and click adventures (at least I thought it was quite fun).. There are 3 acts and every act has you playing as the 3 main characters on their own mission.
But there are some stuff I find not well done, like not explaining you could use objects on the characters in your inventory (I was stuck on papa when I just switched characters and there it was said you should ask another character about the object (or something like that), only then I knew I needed to use the character icons sometimes).
There are 2 'puzzles' which are extremely annoying as it kinda needs you to just guess the correct images in a specific order.. and especially with the second 'image' puzzle it seems if you don't get it right the first time you can't seem to finish it, so be sure to save when you're jane and entering the temple to defeat greenbeard..
Most of the puzzles are straight forward if you look around and just use object together or ask the other characters about it.
I bought it in a pack of more games with the pack costing about 3 euro's, so I definitly think it's worth the price, but the regular 10 euro it is on steam in the glitchie state it is, I would not recommend it, anything below 5 euro's I can..

This is a sequel to 'The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav', and if you like that one, you'll also like this one..

It's actually split into 2 era's, sometimes you play as the same character in Chains and then you'll dream/look back and play as a princess. The jumping between the 2 characters isn't something I liked, (but I still liked the game though), I would rather just have seen 1 complete adventure with the princess, and another (different story not related to the princess) with the chains character..

It all lookes great again, sounds good, and the puzzle's aren't that hard (except maybe some a bit annoying)..

I hope they'll do another one in this universe, as I like it very much..

I wouldn't pay 20 euro's though, but I bought it in a deal for 4 euro's..

Excellent game, not to hard, looks great, sounds great and has a fun story..

the bad? 2 annoying puzzles, one where you have to disarm a bomb, which even with 2 walkthroughs on hand didn't get it solved, so glad it has a 'skip puzzle' button, and the second one is near the end with some binoculars and zooming..
