I received this message and though I'd better post it to all my friends in my steam list. It may be a joke, but I thought it would be better to warn than ignore. I'm sure most of you don't accept unsolicited friends requests via Steam but just in case here is the message:

I'm not sure about the bit about it being able to infect your drive via another users account especially as their drive according to the warning would be destroyed, so they wouldn't be able to access any of their friends, but, better safe than sorry. P
