a small prequel game that essentially should have been a dlc expansion. still silly good awesome game but definitely my least favorite in the series if you don't count youngblood.

awesome silly game. great combat, nice boss fights, great story, meh graphics, astonishing sex scenes.

with the same map, same cinematics, same story, same gameplay and even with the same controls, game feels like a high-budget enhanced graphics mod. you lose nothing good from the old classic mafia game and you sprinkle it with beautiful graphics. only problem is the technical issues, sometimes sound go away, sometimes cutscenes go black, fullscreen and borderless windowed is painful and fps drops occur out of nowhere.

when a decent story meets quantic dream's professional game designing abilities, you get a masterpiece like this. my mind cannot comprehend the size of the choice tree and the amount of completely different endings. quantic dream wouldn't be able to make a bad game even if their life depended on it.

fun, not-so-long extra missions.

gameplay dynamics have changed noticibly in a remarkable way. combat and driving are both incredibly enjoyable. mission designs are so wonderfully done, i've started doing side missions for the first time in ages. storytelling is absolutely gorgeous as it leads the player like a sheep in those "hallucination" parts. cinematics and scenes are so beautiful; game itself feels like a noir batman movie that has unique universe elements, graphic designs and themes. npcs are smart and graphics are excellent.

such an underrated game. concept of a young, flawed batman with anger issues is bold and they did it so nicely. voice acting is really professional with all the emotions and the reality of it all. graphics are good and the plot is great.

cinematic masterpiece with the beautiful active storytelling and the amazingly nonboring plot. missions do get repetitive with the simple formula of "go there, beat up people, come back" but gameplay does not bore. combat is beautiful and the graphics are still enjoyable in 2025.

campaign has got technical errors just because all controls and gameplay was designed for online, but stories are made well enough to create wonderful cinematic experiences. online mode is random, crowded, chaotic and gorgeous.

great linear cinematic game. the art direction is beautiful and the claustrophobic disturbing atmosphere of the asylum is great. plot is intriguing as it sets in a narrow period between a clearly long, filled past and questions of what could come after it. interactive storytelling is professional as i felt like the game knew what i would think and where i would go as an impulse, numerous times. combat is fluent and enjoyable. batman's body shape is goofy af. definitely recommend it and the games came after it, the quality just gets better like a snowball with each game of the series.
