I did not play this game for 25 hours. Of the few hours I actually involved myself with this game, I always had a good time. Emily is Away Too is packed with culture references of all kinds from the mid 00's. I may have spent more time finding new music, movies, and artists from this game than I spent actually playing it. Kyle Seeley nods to several other great indie titles in the secret icon codes --which you should look up if you don't plan to replay this game. The story certainly does a great job of showing you the consequences to your actions... or words; there are six endings to your relationship with Emily, and six with Evelyn. I appreciate the sincere storytelling and the kinda-cute-nostalgic style.

I've recommended this game numerous times to different friends. I'm so glad I decided to try out a story game like this, as I usually play shooters and other types of fast-paced games, because after a first playthrough I returned to play it again. It truly is a beautiful game with a very heartfelt storyline.
