Game runs buttery smooth on my 1080 Ti with plenty of frame-lock options, from 30 - 240fps, with an Unlimited option to boot. Although it may not carry the same visual fidelity of Monster Hunter World, RIse's artstyle holds up just fine and sets itself apart from it's predecessors. The high resolution textures help to bring it up that much more.

I've faced about three crashes so far, one time when I paused the game, another when I accepted a quest, and another when I went AFK for roughly 5 minutes. Thankfully none of these were during a quest, but I'm sure it could happen. Hopefully the crashes get ironed out soon. *Edit: I have now had the game crash in the middle of a High Rank Online game hunting a Rathian. And I've had a few more crashes to boot. Not sure why, but it needs addressing.

As for those that are unable to start playing due to a save bug, that's certainly unacceptable and needs to be fixed ASAP.

Overall, for me, it's the PC port I've wanted for the game since it launched on the Switch. Biggest downside being no way to port your save over (at least without the use of mods as far as I'm aware). Oh, and there's a horrendous amount of DLC. But thankfully all the DLC is cosmetic and rather lack luster cosmetics at that, so I'll just continue to ignore it.

In all, plays great, runs great, looks great. There's way too much DLC, I hope they iron out the crashes, and fix that awful save bug that's preventing some people from playing the game.

Put over ten hours in the demo alone. To my surprise, the full game carried over my save so I could just continue on from there! The three classes are extremely diverse and fun to play. The base (or camp) building is worthwhile and exciting to upgrade. The core gameplay mechanics for building the perfect dungeon that offers up the best risk reward for your character is addicting and the itch to experiment with various decks and playstyles is all there. A worthwhile experience to any and all willing to try something refreshing and new, whether your a fan of RPGs, Tower Defense, or Rogue-likes, you'll find something here to enjoy.

Pretty darn fun.

Hope they add new tracks and variations to the rounds so they feel a little less samey on repeat runs.

Other than being unable to disable per-object motion blur, and the inability to rebind certain controller inputs (R1 / L1 for example), this is a really great, beautiful looking and well running port. Finally a way to play Persona 4 Golden on a bigger screen outside of the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV. It's everything you've come to expect from Golden, just now available on PC. Looks great in 4K!

Command & Conquer™ Remastered is finally here, developed by Petroglyph Studios (Grey Goo (2015), 8-Bit Armies (2016)), former Westwood Studio developers and published by Electronic Arts. It's so close to being the perfect return of Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert, but juuust not quite there. Here's a basic overview of the remaster. What I like, and what I dislike about it.

A full remaster of the music by Frank Klepacki, sound and visuals of the classic 1995 and 1996 releases of "Command & Conquer™ Tiberian Dawn", "Command & Conquer™: Red Alert", and their expansions, "Command & Conquer™ Covert Ops", "Command & Conquer™: Counter Strike", and "Command & Conquer™ The Aftermath". Featuring a 4K resolution, upscaled cutscenes including ones from the original PlayStation 1 release, complete with smoothed out framerates, playable on modern hardware with "modern" gameplay mechanics and updates. Lastly, the ability to go from original art to remastered artstyles on the fly in-game, but NOT for cutscenes.

The variety of keybinds is incredible, buuut, they are let down by the fact the game doesn't allow a more modernized command bar. The current command bar expands as more buildings are created, much like the original release, which means
QWERTY
ASDFGH
ZXCVBN
hotkeys get jumbled horribly depending on your build. When compared to OpenRA, it's way too behind the times. Allow players a "Legacy" and "Modern" option, to feature all buttons on the command bar and just grey out the options that are unusable. That way, no matter what build the player goes for, the hotkeys and buttons wont shift around.

I'd also like to see an option to switch between the original 360p cutscenes and the newly remastered / upscaled / framerate smoothed cutscenes by hitting space bar, same as the in-game visuals. Some of these cutscenes look really wonky and terrible whenever there's too much motion on screen or silhouettes, fully detracting from the experience and immersion. Extremely disappointing.

Using multiple monitors? Different resolutions? Avoid Exclusive Fullscreen. This game will forget what monitor it's on, glitch out, and cause you to have to Alt+F4 to fix it. It's also prone to forgetting resolutions. Play in borderless windowed if you have multiple monitors.

Tiberian Dawn is limited to 4p. Red Alert, 8p. There are no private rooms, no password protected lobbies. If you enable a mod, it stops you from playing multiplayer. Enabling or disabling a mod forces you to restart the game. Multiplayer lags, as in, delayed interacting with units via selection, movement, attack, etc. MMR is as basic as it gets. What's the ladder map pool? It's not explained or shown. It's extremely bare bones and poorly implemented. An afterthought at most.

Observer mode leaves a lot to be desired. It's so limiting on what is shown to the viewer. Not to mention, where are my own replays? Why am I getting random replays from random people? Why can't I see what units / structures are being produced by what players at any given time? How many units does each player have and what type? How many harvesters exist for each player? What's the income rate for each player? This is such a HUGE oversight and will detract heavily from a caster's abilities or a viewer's understanding as to what's currently going on.

Lastly, the stutters. If you do not have an SSD in the current version of the game, as of 10:00PM ET, 6/6/2020, do not buy this game. It will stutter all to hell and be virtually unplayable. We're talking full on frame hitching, dropping down to below 10FPS for 0.25-1 seconds. This is inexcusable. Avoid at all costs until this is patched and fixed.

When there's already a better product out on the market (for free, I might add), and the only major improvement here is the visuals, audio and music, then I can't recommend buying this product in it's current state. If OpenRA didn't exist, and wasn't better in virtually every other way gameplay wise, then I'd 100% say this game was worth it. But the cutscenes are botched, the framerate is a potato (on HDD), observer mode leaves a lot to be desired, and the command bar let's down the incredible key binding options. They can do better, I've seen them do better.

Good but, needs more hotkeys.

I really enjoy playing the game but... I really wish they would add more hotkeys. For example, you can hit "C" (or rebind it) to open the "Colonize" tab, but then there's no hotkeys for options like "Tent" or "House" etc. It can be really frustrating to have to hit C, then mouse click on Tent, then move the mouse cursor over and place the tent down, really slowing down gameplay. Yes, you can pause, meaning no time is taken in-game, but as someone that really enjoys playing RTS games, lacking hotkeys makes the gameplay feel way too clunky.

Also, there's no ability to press down the middle-mouse-button (or alternative button) to scroll the map. You have to either move the mouse to the edge of the screen, or use the arrow (or wasd) keys to scroll. Again, adding to that clunky feeling.

After just recently purchasing this version of Planetary Annihilation: Titans, I have been hooked on this macro heavy, multi-planet, Real-Time Strategy game. It is extremely satisfying to amass large forces, keep tabs on your enemies, expand to multiple planets and build game-ending super weapons.

Mods are easily accessible through main menu. They allow for a wide variety of new maps and add-ons to customize your playstyle. I highly recommend the "Queller-AI" mod and the Legion Expansion.

Performance for the most part on my Nvidia 970 has seen a very stable 60+ fps when in-game on max settings, 100% sampling. When loading into a lobby it can get a bit stuttery. I also noticed that in 10 player matches on max settings where there are thousands of units it can get some slowdown and poor framerates (below 30 FPS). This caused me to experience a crash once from this. Unless you're absolutely positive your system can handle it, I would advise lowering your settings for big 10 player matches.

The learning curve can feel very steep if you just dive into multiplayer, so I would suggest to newcomers to play not only the Tutorial, but a normal game of the "Galactic War" campaign to get used to the controls, units and buildings.

Overall, I really like Planetary Annihilation: Titans and it's easily becoming one of my favourite RTS games.

A solid 4 out of 5 from me.

The moment I realised you can suplex zombies, break their necks and can become an overpowered god by the end of the experience makes this game one of my all time favourites. Lots of treasure to find, fun enemies to fight, simple puzzles to solve and loads of weapons to upgrade. Although the title doesn't share the same campy storyline of Resident Evil 4, it improves on every aspect of the combat and is a much higher quality port with solid keyboard & mouse support to boot. Very arcade-like and mercenaries mode is a blast. I recommend it whole-heartedly.
