Time has passed since i last put this up:

I think the core game is there and it's fun, well i've nearly spent 500 hours in it, at this point.

What it lacks is support from the devs, there are still day 1 bugs, that has never been fixed, or getting worse by every update, while all they seem to fixate on is adding loot crates with skins, to make money.
While you spend time to get cortexes or what ever from some random mark, in a hidden store front, through 4 different tabs to get there.
and if any of these things gets lost because of the game being bugged or broken, all you get for it is, "You should have done better and read the fine print" which in most cases dosn't explain anything about why the 40 cortexes you've just spent vanished in to thin air and you're reward from purification is no where to be seen.

or you're sculpture you bought for 5000k Mitzuku (what ever) marks.. is now gone, because you did place it in you're house, but apparently half of it is gone when you log in.. and the bloody things is no where to be found.. and some how it's you're fault, you should have done better.

so after all this time, 4 seasons, i'm not digging this game any more, i've spent money on Cosmetics to support it, and i don't regret it that much, only that the Dev's seem fine to take a pis on you and your time. it's increadible how little they understand western culture and why people want some respect for their time.

:::::::::OLD REVIEW:::::::::::::::

I think it's a pretty cool game where you start out by a little focus on Survival getting a base built and that's about it, then it's about the Story, and Towns, Facilities everything you need to explore to get resources to become stronger to fight the Nightmares lurking in Dungeons, and while doing this there is a huge potential on just building a base and be a farmer or miner and doing all of the basic things specially if you are in a Hive (Clan or Guild), and just help out there, then the Hives can join together in a Warband, but that is mostly PVP.

Personally i play on a PVE server, there are still things that are "PVP", oriented, and you get pvp active even among friends in you're team.. soo that was interesting to find out..

and else, the world is huge, and plenty of fun exploring and finding things.

Then for some of the bad things:
My Old review below, i used at least 20 hours trying to figure out how to make this thing work, and i still get the same Nvidia errors, i had to take my game and put it on 1920x1080 resolution, and then everything can still be maxed out, and it still crashes some times, mostly when a cut scene is being shown, or going in to a Dungeon or something, the open world is 98% more stable now.

I admit, it might be my GPU that's faulty as well, but for referance i had similar issues in Cyberpunk 2077, and now i have none, even with full graphics at 2K, So there gotta be something software based as well, that can be thought out to fix these issues.

But overall now, i like this game, I play with 1 friend, we have a good time even though we mostly do our seperate things.

Old Review:
_______________________________________
The only reason I can't recommend this game is that I crash every 5–10 minutes. I've tried everything, reinstall, deleted shaders, tried the in-game fix, and tried the steam fix with checking files.

I set the graphic settings to the lowest of lows and did recommend, and everything in between, nothing worked.

Furthermore, I've used DDU and reinstalled drivers, checked windows for faults, with sfc /scannow, and then Underclocked my GPU and sped up every fan in my system. To make hot spots a thing of the past, I've run several stress tests to check stability before running the game, and it still crashes.

I've watched the top 50 recommended videos on YouTube about fixes, checked countless Reddit posts, and Steam forum posts, and visited websites I'm not sure should be allowed on the internet just to check for a fix. Those weren't the fixes I was looking for.

The funny thing is, I usually hate every game with survival in its gameplay, drinking, eating and whatnot are annoying enough in real life. I don't have to be reminded and die from it in a virtual world as well, but this game caught my interest any way, and what I've played has been alright, except for the constant crashes.

If you have any tips or help on how to actually fix it, and not just a reference to a video or topic i've most likely already seen and done to fix it, please feel free to add a comment on it, because I'd actually like to give this review a thumbs up instead of down.

-Update
So since my last review, I had a bit of luck one day when I actually got to close the game myself... twice!, but now that it started acting up again, nothing has changed, nothing has been done, but now the sound also gets really, really loud and explosive out of nowhere, and the only fix for this was to change sound source forth and back to anything really.

So for me, it's still terrible. Despite the whole "Alien/Monster" vibe, survival still feels like something i want to explore more, which I can't currently do.

----UPDATE 2----

After A LOT! Of testing… After apparently 20 hours, what seems to trick my Crashes is "inputs," no matter what kind of input, but it's random, which is annoying.

A lot of the time, I can run around some times up to 1 hour, and not do anything but move around, in my base, etc., then go outside, and I get to a new area where it has to load something different; it might or might not crash, usually not. Then, if I decide to Cut down a tree, usually if I use a rifle for hunting, I can shoot things, but when I want to "loot" animals or other items, I crash. Sometimes, when i get back in, things have respawned, and I'm already dead, even though I cleared everything.

It can also happen doing base building, destroying things and setting up new things, but it's usually more "safe" but happens... And that's where most of these hours have gone. I can't do any big quests or explore big areas because I'll crash and usually die, and if I try and defend myself to get out, I crash again, over and over.

My GPU, CPU, PSU and every other component in my system have been thoroughly doing tests with all my available options.
My log tells me it's a lot of Nvidia errors with drivers, or things stopping.
I've previously had a long conversation with my Motherboard manufacture (MSI) and Ram manufacture (Kingston) to see if there were any issues with their hardware, and none were found.
Nvidia errors are like:
NVIDIA-NVTOPPS-FILTER: 0xC0000035
NVDisplay.Container.exe: : 0x64e85748
_nvtopps.dll,
nvlddmkm (Stopped responding and is restarted) - well known and long-standing issue with Nvidia.
with a long list of different error messages.
where the only fix listed online, or by Nvidia support is to DDU and reinstall, which i've done at least 5 times now.

So though what I've played so far, I can't explain, I still like it, but I dread playing it to have these crashes interrupt and prevent me from playing with friends, because if I crash, I put them in a bad spot.

And just quickly, it only gets worse the lower the graphic settings are set.. which is the strangest thing i've ever seen.
