This game is really really disappointing, absolutely an inch deep pond of fetid bod water. No interest in exploring its own setting beyond the surface level and it feels like it *thinks* its saying something. every facet of the vibe is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Game is a damned liar and runs like absolute garbage on my machine that is well within the parameters. game even runs worse than it did in the past

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful, its from the school of just hitting you in the face until you luck through their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as if thats actual challenge. either that or they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at explaining how things work.

So, Firstly I'd like to clarify. the French content here is very threadbare and not great. the only reason I am leaving a positive review is because I vastly prefer this style of DLC where the mechanics remain free while the flavor is paid to the EU4 style system of deprecated dead end features. I really hope this content gets a face lift though because hit a button, wait 5 years, get an event, wait another 5 yaaaay is a bafflingly bad idea and I'm completely shocked there was maybe 1 event regarding it the entire time in the run up to Louis Napoleon just *becoming* king without a shot fired or any real unrest.

I really cannot fathom the new additions to the game, in general this is a fun one with interesting ways to play. but. so many times it locks you into an unwinable state you won't see until the next stage (durable pins on the dragon level says ♥♥♥♥ you) or are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wild in unlocking. the new classes are unhinged in their unlock style and speed unless I am missing something huge, with cheating I wasn't even able to get the threshold for unlocking other classes. why include this extra nonsense in the first place? just let us play the new stuff!?

Very sad to write a negative review for this game but its just fully abandoned. if its ever on sale I'd rec it for some fun but it sucks to have it just abandoned like this
