I was under the assumption that the "Ridiculous hour after hour after hour JRPG grind" design mindset died 10-15 years ago. Apparently not

If your game can't even be played without scouring a wiki for hours on end, it isn't "Esoterically difficult", it's a bad game

If your combat system is purposefully sluggish and obnoxious to raise difficulty, it isn't difficult, it's a bad game

If your system for leveling up is heavily dependent on certain builds and certain builds alone, it isn't "Beginning unfriendly", it's a bad game

Assuming you both play daily and are attacked once per day (which is a bold assumption as there's usually only one every couple or so) it will still take you roughly a decade and a half to earn the Epic Defender achievement

Surprisingly dull. All of the mystery and intrigue from the first game is gone, and Aloy is now just utterly unlikable

Boss music for my left D PadIf you play a lot of JRPGs the side task grind for 100% really isn't that bad at all. Only about 60 hours for a full completion run, minus the 3 other achievements locked behind other houses
