Overall the game is a decent improvement over the 1st game but the ending is so poorly done and rushed it just completely ruins all replayability why bother playing a second time?

Developer of this game has obviously tried to copy both Sid Meier's Pirates and Naval Action and it's just executed poorly. Naval combat gets repetitive very quickly and the AI is not good at all. Port menu's are exactly like Sid Meier's but extremely shallow in comparison. In terms of game progression there is nothing besides just ranking up in order to get bigger class ships and capturing ports that's pretty much it. I've really tried to like this game because there isn't really any good naval genre games out there but I just cannot recommend this game.

This game used to be fun then Mordau came out. After playing it for a while it reminds me on how broken this games mechanics really are and how toxic the chivalry community is. This game is dead now and don't know why anyone would play this over Mordhau.

Spend 6 hours grinding to get a decent base and loot setup.
Get offline raided.

Rinse and repeat.

Despite the issues such as bugs and poor optimisation, and the disappointing ending, I would definitely pick this game up when it's on sale as it's the best medieval RPG I've played in a while. I got a good solid 60 hours of fun in my first play through. I don't think there is many other games that come close to this game in terms of realism and depth when it comes to the medieval genre.
I will come back and play this game when they release more DLC and release mod tools.

This used to be my favorite game to play at one point, and now has become one of my most hated games. I started playing in 2016 during the sea trial era and the game was such a blast. I'm sad to say the developers have completely ruined this game and nobody should waste their time and money with it. The fact it's been made free to play with nearly 500 euros worth of DLC says it all.
