Yknow, Gaijin really does make quite an effort to screw over the playerbase at every turn - and they are going to increasing lengths to veil it. The newest battlepass is an utter disgrace, and means you're paying for even LESS content than with any previous battlepass. They recently fixed a "bug" with rockets which allowed them to destroy bases with relative ease - which is fair enough, I guess. However, they also made a simultaneous change to bombs which overall reduced their reward multiplier, as well as to rockets. It means that for the same amount of effort, you get 20-30% less rewards than before for rockets, or ~5-15% less for bombs.
Futher, Gaijin has repeatedly delayed crucial parts of the roadmap, and degraded what they had originally promised - going so far as to silently go back and edit their posts on the matter! The degradation of the game is a pattern at this point, and it will continue.
Even further STILL, rewards in game haven't been increased at all! Some of the pain was alleviated with a reduction in top tier RP and SL costs, but it's a pittance, the rewards even halfway up the tech tree feel relatively unhinged from what is being earned, for a somewhat reasonable progression.

Review from November 2023: Gaijin is back at it, after a few months of seeming promising! They've decided to "delay" crucial parts of the roadmap they committed to "until they know the effects", and they're screwing over players on the sale by VASTLY breaking tradition. Don't trust the snakes that are Gaijin.

Gaijin sucks and they want to triple the repair costs. That'll ensure even with premium, making a SL profit off a game is near impossible. Don't waste your time.

Original review:
The "game" is pretty carefully crafted to give the least amount of fun while encouraging you to spend as much money as possible, for every minute step up over the other team. It's not worth it.

The game effectively requires premium time beyond IV rank vehicles, and it's still a grindy nightmare. Most people will want to play the higher BR vehicles, and simply put, they're just out of reach. Even if you do just pay to use them, you won't even be effective in them, because of how the mechanics in the game are built.

The economy in-game has been absolutely wrecked, the community is absolutely terrible, and the devs don't care about the players at all.
