ATLUSSSSSSSSSS YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN YA BASTARDS!!!
Wow, Atlus has truly outdone themselves this time! After eight long years of development, they've delivered yet another masterpiece. I've played a ton of their JRPGs—SMT IV, Strange Journey, Radiant Historia, Persona—but this one? Easily the most fun I’ve had with any of their titles. SMT IV comes close, but this game edges it out by just a bit.

What really makes it shine? The DDS-inspired press turn mechanics combined with synthesis are an absolute blast. The soundtrack? Phenomenal, as always. And the worldbuilding—don’t even get me started! I heard there’s a connection to Etrian Odyssey, which just makes it all the more intriguing. My only wish after finishing it? For Atlus to bring these incredible field battle mechanics into a future SMT game.

I honestly thought Infinite Wealth would take the crown for best JRPG this year, but man, was I wrong. This one takes it. No contest. 10/10 —can’t wait to replay it again to complete the achievement lists.

Having completed the Switch version years ago, replaying it on my Steam Deck is still an exhilarating experience. The game’s stellar gameplay, largely thanks to the press turn system, continues to impress. While my expectations for the plot aren’t high, I do hope for some improvements. Despite this, the gameplay alone makes it my favorite Atlus game to date!

(pls port SMT IV, Atlus...)

Even after spending around 50 hours with the remake of Persona 3, despite having already played it on Switch, my experience was never lessen. The enhanced social links and various quality of life improved my gameplay experience. However, I do find theurgy to be a bit overpowered, even on the merciless difficulty. Nonetheless, I can confidently say that this is one of the most beautiful Atlus games I've ever played, and I have no regrets about experiencing it again! thank you Atlus! (but ♥♥♥♥ you too for making an anti-consumer expansion pass.)

found this game randomly on twitter, looked into it and got interested. And now enjoying it fully even though the english language here is a bit garbo (which is expected for a wuxia-indie game). Go play it guys, this game is very addicting!

As usual, enjoyable long story game with a slow start. Truthfully I didn't feel that immersed into the game until the final chapter, and getting spoiled for the important characters like S and C hurt the experience even more. Even so the break/slash/pierce system is actually a great addition to an already fine battle system of Azure. Looking forward for ToCS II!

Started playing the franchise about 2 months ago, and now finished playing the 5th entry of the long overarching series. What I can say is that my experience about this game is nothing but astonishing and unforgettable. Its about the same feeling as when I play the Xenoblade Trilogy, especially Xenoblade 1 when compared to this game. Though there are some problems about this game (esp about the endgame) but nonetheless its currently my favorite Trails game. Some say that this game is the peak of Trails series, but hopefully the Erebonian games can impress me too.
