Milk outside a bag of milk is a relatively short VN with a unique art style and soundtrack that helps to convey how the main character is feeling. It does atmospheric horror well by creating a sense of unease as you progress through the story. As for the story itself, how much you can resonate and relate to it depends on your own personal experiences. It can be quite confusing and disjointed for most people, but those who have experienced mental issues may find themselves resonating a lot with how this game depicts them.

As someone with OCD I found myself relating a lot to how the main character is often trapped in a prison of her own thoughts, which results in her being unproductive as she carries out seemingly nonsensical tasks that she has convinced herself will help her feel better. The endings help to give a deeper insight into how the main character thinks and views the world around her. One ending in particular that resonated with me was 'Are We Friends?' as there was a time when I shared similar nihilistic thoughts.

I wholeheartedly recommend this VN to anyone who is interested by its premise. For those who struggle to understand the story but would like to, I'd suggest thinking about what the dialogue and imagery represents, instead of viewing it literally.

Dying Light is one of the best open world zombie survival games. Its biggest strong suit is by far the gameplay; the physics and parkour system helps to differentiate it from other games of the same genre and remains impressive to this day. However, it's not without its flaws. As many others have said, the story leaves a lot to be desired, and the characters are mostly forgotten about which makes the story feel weak as there are moments where the player is seemingly expected to care about them despite barely any screen time or interaction.

There are also some questionable design choices that took away from the experience, the most prominent being artificial difficulty. For example, virals will continue to spawn randomly and attack you despite not making any sound, which goes against what the game initially teaches you about virals being attracted to sound. There is a specific enemy, the Bomber, which is Dying Light's version of a creeper. They tend to be placed in specific areas resulting in cheap deaths which are often unavoidable without being aware of them beforehand. There are also some areas/missions where enemies, in particular virals, will infinitely respawn, forcing the player to either run away or camouflage.

Another questionable design choice is how there are two instances that come to mind in the main story where the player has their inventory removed and is forced to fight with whatever the game gives them. It felt underwhelming to spend the majority of gameplay looting and getting better gear only for it to be taken away when it actually matters during a boss fight. While the game is generally bug-free I did experience a few that were disruptive and forced me to restart the game.

I also noticed something strange when it came to random encounters that involve the NPC talking to Crane, the player character. While there is normal dialogue involving the NPC, or the setting, there were a few cases where the dialogue came across as unnecessarily preachy and condescending, and Crane just takes it and doesn't respond. It felt pretty jarring and artificial, and I found myself questioning why it was in the game to begin with since it held no relevance to the plot or the setting, or Crane for that matter.

TLDR: Dying Light is a great game from a gameplay perspective, and its grounded setting makes it an immersive experience. However, it has a pretty weak narrative and some questionable design choices. I recommend this game to anyone looking to play a game of this genre for its gameplay, but those looking for a memorable story and cast of characters are better off looking elsewhere.

This game has a unique premise and gameplay which helps set it apart. It doesn't sound that fun but it is strangely satisfying. My only complaint would be that getting 100% is a bit too time-consuming due to having to replay the majority of the game for the two routes, which can become tedious if you're playing for an extended period of time.

It's decent fun if you're looking for an arcade racer, and the customisation options gives a nice incentive to revisit the game to expand your car collection. Just don't expect the game to work with a racing wheel, and be prepared to listen to your own music because the in-game OST gets old fast.

P3R is an amazing remake but it does have its fair share of flaws. There are arguments to be made for how it doesn't do enough to modernise its gameplay loop, or how it lacks some basic QoL features. I can also see how the original does some things better in regards to the soundtrack, world design or the cutscene direction, both animated and in-game.

These imperfections hold back P3R from being the definitive P3 experience, and that is without touching on the questionable monetisation practices (most notably regarding Episode Aigis) as well as the tone-deaf decision to downplay the significance of FeMC to excuse not including her in the remake, which came across as very out of touch.

Despite all this, P3R is still absolutely worth trying. It shines brightest in its presentation, with updated visuals, improved combat and the majority of dialogue being voiced. The gameplay can feel a bit repetitive at times, so you may find the need to pace yourself, but it is still fun and engaging in moderation.

Finally, I feel that the most important aspect of P3, regardless of which version, is its story, the cast, and the messages the game teaches you. There is a lot to take away from it, and it is without exaggeration that there are life lessons to be learned. I can say without a doubt that this game and its story will stick with me, and I will use the messages it taught me to make better decisions and live my life to its fullest.

A short, sweet and very sad visual novel that explores the age old question of whether falling in love is worth the pain that comes with being alone again. It does a great job at showing how much of a difference one meeting or one choice can make on both people's lives, as well as just how precious and fleeting life can be.
