Bought PoF + HoT a while back and tried playing on a booster character, I was so lost and didn't know what to do, it didn't click so I left the game untouched for a while.

A month ago I was bored and looking for something new to play, I love RPGs and played many MMOs when I was younger so I decided to once again to give Guild Wars 2 a try with an experienced friend.

Starting a fresh character from a humble beginning feels so good as you slowly learn more about the game and the world of Guild Wars 2. You then start to play more and more different content, metas, events, and WvW (even tho I'm still so bad at it xD) and you start to realize how much cool stuffs this game has to offer.

Now I have played around 180 hours in a month and got all expansions including LW and IBS except EoD (waiting for a sale). Playing through them jumping around to get stuff I want such as Skyscale / Spear Mastery.

Also finding a guild / group to play with is absolutely amazing, elevates the experience so much and feels like you're having an adventure with your friends, a bonus if they're experienced so they can show you the ropes.

Even though I'm only mastery 70-ish right now you know I had to dabble in some of that famous Fashion Wars, I love to make cute characters.

Anyway, this long ass yapping essay is just my love letter to the game, such a beautiful amazing game with an epic and mesmerizing world to explore. Also such a GOATed community, y'all are amazing. My journey is just starting and I believe it will be an amazing one.
