This game is a masterpiece. If you haven't played it, you should. Amazing game with a great dev team.

This game is made by a 3 or 4 man team... and yet is doing so many things right that AAA keep getting wrong.
This game is on the Unity engine, and that can often make people think the quality will be low. That's not the case here. I'd put this game next to Cities Skylines as far as examples of Unity done right.

Pick up the full dlc collection version when it's on sale for $20. There is so much to this game. $20 well spent

Great game! Play how you want to play. Risk of Rain 2 vibes in regards to unlocking reward pools and traits.
Fun solo or with friends (and friendly fire).

Fun if you like jumping puzzles! Multiplayer is there but it's essentially playing a single player experience, but you can see each other. I'd say it's like trackmania, but unfortunately you currently only compete in the leaderboards against your friends, vs actually having a structured race against them. Though you can accomplish this on your own with your friends, verbally, it would be nice if there was a system in place to manage it for us.
I picked this game up because a friend played it and said it was fun. I expected to return it, and instead found a lot of enjoyment in it.

If you like risk of rain, you'll probably like this fps with a similar gameplay loop

Amazing game. VERY high skill cap, with super tight controls. If you like skill based quick games, this is a must buy.

10 Years and still going strong. IMO, the best racing game out there... still.

This game is bigger outside of the US than it is inside the US. Most of the servers you will play on (which all host unique custom races) will be outside of the US. If you are worried about lag, don't be, as the gameplay isn't like a standard racing game. You start a track with a specific time limit. You can run the track as many times as you can within this time limit. In the end, the person who managed to run the course the fastest on any given run, is the winner. There is no collision with other players in this game, and once you play some of the tracks out there, you will know why. It wouldn't be possible to complete them any other way.

I would describe this style of racing game as a twitch racer. If you're good at racing games and looking for a real challenge, this is it.
