simple and addictive

Great game.. very good atmosphere and music

Alright guys i'm going to go into a pretty detailed review of what I think Devilian is worth since I have not seen anyone do a decent review yet.
I have played 200 hours in the past 2 weeks and have reached end-game content and will give you my opinion on the game. Please enjoy.


Pros:
-There are literally no bots farming/gathering materials ever. I have been playing and probably have seen ONE person just standing there probably with some type of mouse macro just killing useless mobs. Mobs in the game don't give much at all, nearly nothing. You obtain majority of the materials from dungeons.
-Combat is awesome, it's fluid with a top-down camera similar to PoE and the Diablo series
-Non-Tab targeting of course, it's an Action RPG with MMO aspects
-It's extremely easy to learn how to play
-If you want certain costumes but don't want to pay money, you can purchase in-game credits via gold legally. There is a system called "DEX" (Devilian credits) which is an item you purchase from someone for gold, and when you use it it will add real world funds/credits to your account for use in the marketplace (cash shop).
-Content is actually difficult end game! Even if you have the best equipment you may not be able to clear the final boss of the Archdevil dungeons (3 man raid). It is extremely mechanical and needs skill as the boss has certain 1 shot mechanics and multiple boss phases depending on his life total.
-3 skill trees per class so you can fine tune your build to your style.
-Skill resets are FREE. You do not have to do anything to reset them, you just click the button and it will refund all your points for you to experiment with.
-Dungeon party system is available and although may not be that great for early on level dungeons (nobody does them really), it is great for finding your level cap dungeons (instant queue nearly).
-There are 3 people per party for regular dungeons and Archdevil dungeons (which are insanely hard, mechanically & gear wise)
-Raid dungeons will be available in the future with 9 man raids
-Guilds are available with benefits for being in the guild (Guild dungeons, guild daily quest, rewards only obtained via guild)
-PvP available (3v3 and 20v20 battlegrounds)
-Via daily quests and log-in rewards a free to play player can be just as strong as anyone else. (Currently near the top of the leaderboard for my class and haven't paid anything except to validate my account)
-Validating account (Could be a pro or con?). You need to use 5 dollars in the marketplace (Cash shop) and make a purchase before your account is validated. If you have played Archeage or Rift your account is already validated. It is a ONE time thing for your TRION account. This is why there are no botters in the game. Only mail bots that send you occasional garbage are present.
-Nothing is set behind a paywall, you can be very successful in the game as a free to play character

Cons:
-Currently only 4 classes. Cannonner, Evoker (Mage), Shadowhunter (Rogue), Berserker (Warrior). There is a 5th class scheduled to be released sometime later, Deathscythe.
-Classes are genderlocked (why?).. Not that big of a deal for me but may be for some players
-5 dollar purchase of a marketplace item must be made before your account is validated.
-Non validated accounts are not able to initiate a trade with other players. The other player MUST trade YOU first. Trading is still available though.
-Non validated accounts are not able to sell items on the auction house but are able to purchase.
-Can be repetitive at times, grinding for gear in dungeons and what not but every F2P MMO has some aspect of that.
