Good co-op game to mess around with your friends. Yes, It does move EXTREMELY away from Saints Row 2's serious-funny tone. But, with people previously claiming this game was "nothing but a gta clone" in it's first game, I could see why they place more on the fun factor.


Before you say that the DLC version would of been better, It was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy and even the developers ADMIT IT.

I tried to like this game as a fan of Supreme Commander and Total Annihilation, but the fact I bought this when it was still expensive. I honestly regret buying this. I don't say this lightly as I thought Uber wouldn't be like Hi-Rez or Double Fine and skip out on development. Boy was I wrong!

Planetary Annihilation, while in a state of full release, still feels like an early access game. For example, It took them MONTHS to put in a simple offline mode! It's still missing ALOT of things. It feels like they had a good concept and simply gave up on it. There are massive balancing issues even with the AI. I played this during Galactic Conquest update and uninstalled it after nearly 3 hours of disconnects from AI skirmishes and just flat out bored. What are the promises right now? "Oh yeah, We're still here. We're still working on it. We're not planning a failure of a kickstarter for a new RTS no no!"

That latter part came true by the way.

So this game sits in my library. One more wasted purchase next to Postal 3 and Miner Wars. Yep.

Fell into the hype like everyone else. I felt a bit pissed after playing this. I soaked about 30 hours into the game before I wrote this.

The game itself is terrible. It was sorely hyped around the fact it's a "FIRST *NEXT GEN* TITLE". A statement that has been used NUMEROUS times in the industry if you follow it very closely and do a bit of research into how games where hyped in the past. It's nearly comparable with ACM in the sheer amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and lies in the hype from the E3 and other events that this game was showcased.

Let's see: Graphics that remind me of Saints Row 1. Plain, Dull, and Boring graphics. It can look pretty at *times* but it's honestly nothing to write home about. This is the main reason why people bought into this game. Compare the two and you WILL find out why.

Story? Dear god, If your looking for one, Please look somewhere else. This game forces characters into the fray without giving a bit of backstory to them. The biggest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ questions I had while in the game is "If he had the kid....Where the hell is the mother? Who is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guy? What drove him to do what he's doing? What is this first blackout that is mentioned multple times?" It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad that it makes me wonder how the hell this person got a job at Ubisoft. Then again, Ubisoft has been quite derpy lately with this.

Yes, There is multiplayer. It's fun for a few minutes when you actually get it working. half of the time you'll be dropped from it. The only problem I have is that it's very limited, Hacking requires you to sit in a circle and play hide-go-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-seek. You can't move from the circle or you lose.

I could go on and on to rant about this game. The sheer problems it has overlooks the postives. Including the state of the PC version. Even with the newer patches, The game runs terrible.

Please just avoid this game. There are better open-world sandbox games on the market. If something like this happens again, Please learn from the people like me who pre-ordered this game and wait a bit after launch.

The sequel to the AMAZING game known as Portal. This game takes everything from Portal 1 and turns up the awesome factor. I can sit here all day and be a fanboy but I must suggest (as always) if your in for the story TO PLAY the first one to give an idea.


- Co-op. I cannot tell how much enjoyment me and my bud had when first playing the co-op. It's a bit short and leaves you wanting more. That's where the workshop and mods come in.

And the fun of bullshiting around while you and your bud try to come up with the answer to said puzzle.

- Workshop works well for this game. Although, It's only for shorter maps made with a simplified version of the SDK. It's still a blast to look at!

If your honestly a Valve fan or just want something with a twist and new, you need to pick this up.

As a fan of the orginal game, I was deeply upset that Rebellion chose a hall-way linear pathway for the maps. Sniper Elite V2 does improve in the sniping section of the game and added in a very neat Xray shot for any special or unqiue shots...However, The game takes a BIG step back in the areas of the game. For one, Most levels are just a big hall-way. If you compared to the original one, It was a large sqaure map with different routes to choose.

If your seriously looking for older classic games, I HIGHLY suggest you get this. I own 3 copies of this game and I still play it a bit to this day. Unlike games today, This game gives you a freedom of choice while putting you into a setting that is disurbing and quite amusing at the same time. The game does have a twisted sense of humor. Yes, while It has no story. But the gameplay makes up for that by giving the players freedom. The recent update added a new spice to the game as well with some new weapons.

That being said, the developers are extremely nice people. Postal 2 is 10 years old and had a huge update recently as mentioned before. I hope their "next project" goes well for them.
