Hands down the future of what gaming SHOULD look like. For anyone who loves D&D or RPGs in general, this is a MUST PLAY of the modern gaming industry. Larian Studios has done what other companies FEAR to do, by putting out a FULLY fleshed out game with NO microtransactions and an entire HOARD of replayability with it's branching pathline where its So, soooo easy to miss things if you're just trying to rush through the main story.

Been playing this game since it first released on the 360. Hands down one of the best pick-up-and-play zombie shooters out on the market. Between my xbox time and my time here on steam, I absolutely adore this game. The modding capabilities are endless and having access to hundreds of community made maps also just adds to the replayability of this gem.

With mods you can update the graphics and shading to be more modern/HD and it performs well with low-high end PCs as long as you know what settings you're working with. For lower end PCs I highly recommend going easy on the workshop stuff because it will bog you down, for higher end peeps, go crazy and have fun. Let loose and mow down zombies as you work with your team to safety and survival!

The community from what I've experienced is mostly wholesome, though I have come across some rather toxic players as well; but, that's the internet for you. You take the good with the bad, y'know? Seriously though, worth the purchase, still an amazing game that holds up even among the newer generation of games released.

Honestly, I heard about this game a few years back and after having played through the first Phantasy Star Online for the Xbox 360/PC and realizing just how much fun I had with it - I knew this was going on my list to try and it definitely holds up even amongst more graphic and modern MMOS. It's a little grindy, but with the bonus quest dungeons leveling is an absolute breeze and gearing up isn't too hard to do either with a little time and determination. Community seems pretty active as well, and there are so many different ways to customize your character that it would be hard to find anyone who looks exactly the same way you do.

All in all, I'd give this game a solid 8.5/10 for sheer enjoyment, taking off the 1.5 stars simply because it is a bit dated, having been out for years overseas in Japan and Korea already.
