For early access, it's really good!

Story was a bit thin towards the end with a few strange logic holes. But over all an excellent experience.

Took me about 4 hours to complete. A very cute little game very, very addictive!

It's not what I thought it would be, it's just so much better! I love this game.

Good lil' game!

This was a really nice little game! Takes about 6 hours to get through once, probably a bit longer if you read more of the hints, evidence, and profiles but I was perhaps a bit too eager.

This game is a bit of a tough game to rate. I have over 50 hours in it, and I forsee another 50 or so. So I can't say I wouldn't recommend it. However, is it workt $70/$100? No, not really. It is the very essence of a Bethesta game boiled down to a concentrated broth.

What keeps it from being a really good game is the weird writing/dialogues. It is better than some other Bethesta games, but feels very unnatural and strange. Sort of like an "uncanny valley" of dialogue at points. As if "Yes, this is almost how humans talk, but not quite."

Same goes for the characters in terms of animation, facial expressions, textures, etc. They feel very 2010 but put inside a better render engine.

I also wish there was more to the space flight. Right now you really just fast travle everywhere, the only times you do things in space is space battle, where I get crushed within seconds unless I drop the difficulty. There is just very little you can do in terms of space tactics.

The story, lore, etc is really good though. I love the worldbuilding and what they have created. I also really enjoy the ship building aspect, even if it leaves a bit to be desired in terms of control, it is a lot of fun. I hope to see this expaned in the future.

I've not really tried base building, mostly because I've not seen the reason to do so yet, but as I progress that might become more apparent.

Over all I recommend the game, but it has its flaws and is probably not suitable for everyone.

Super cute and has a lot of potential to grow or get expansions.

As a metroidvania it is very lackluster to the point where it really isn't a metroidvania with no interconnecting areas and no ability gated areas to reach. There are secret areas to visit, but there is no reason to try and find them since what you find there doesn't really get you anything new, just a bit of power ups. It is really easy to sequence break and do things in the wrong order when you're exploring, especially if you're playing a two player game.

It does introduce some interesting ideas, like the SMG and reload mechanic and the way two player works is really fun. But over all, I would not recommend this game.
