Pros
- Great game, story and combat.
- No input lag compared to HDC.
- Good for players who uses low spec PCs/Laptops.
- Can save/load the progress after entering the cheat code.
- Has transparency effects by default (making Dante not look like a protein man protagonist in a cultural anime)

Cons
- Need a couple of mods like Style Switcher to make it somehow appealing to your standards (widescreen/fullscreen support, customized keyboard binding, adjustable HUD, etc.). Some mods can cause crashes.
- Needs extra control configuration with GPadCfg for DirectInput and some 3rd-party apps like XInput Plus for XInput devices.
- Font texts are small compared to the PS2 version and HDC releases though most of the files are used in PS2.
- Some shaders and graphics are not showing properly (e.g. lightning attacks from Gigapede, Mission 18 boss fight background colors).
- Combat demos are frozen (Status > File > Devil Arms/Styles)
- This bug, purchased Gold Orbs in the shop are actually Yellow Orbs which is useless for Gold Mode.
- No Steam achievements
- Bad port.
