Game of the year without a doubt

Great game. It's been ages since I played a game that I could "turn my brain off" as I did with this one... Just plug your controller, smash the enemies, breeze through the stages, and always be aware of the secrets! Solid 7/10.

This game sucks... I beat it just out of spite.

It’s so nice to sometimes play a game that you can just turn your brain off, relax, and appreciate the view/music, and this game is perfect in these aspects.

With that being said, it does lack polishing. I mean, the game felt a bit “crude” since you only have one trick, which is driving... Yes, I know: “It’s a racing game, what would you expect?” I got it! But hear me out. In other games like "Top Gear" and "Out Run" (games that it clearly got its inspiration from), you have more than just the “racing” thing going on. Regarding Top Gear, you got the customization gimmick, which we sort of got here, however, in a much simpler way. In Out Run, we have the crowd and the timer constantly keeping you in check, whereas here... Well, although the scenarios are pretty slick and the super scaling is crispy, the lack of “life” affects the experience tremendously.

Regarding all the issues, the soundtrack is good, the gameplay while simple does deliver, and the visuals are astoundingly good. I definitely recommend it. 6/10.

My favorite game of all time. It's all I want to say.

Don't get me wrong, I like short games/stories, but this it's just ridiculous... It feels like this game is just a showcase of voice acting and pixel art. And the story? It's just awful, man. I mean, it could have been good even with this teeny-weeny gameplay (20 to 30 minutes), but it was terrible. Comes from nowhere and leads to nowhere. There was just no point, no building, no resolution. Felt like a bad demo, and I'm being good by saying this!

Don't buy it.

I love this game.

So far, so good. I got say it's not a very difficult game (for now) and it's suffering of lack of content (like music, sfx, variety...), but I know that's the early acess "thing", so I'm gonna take it easy on that side. Even with that sort of problems the game it's good and I see a very promissor future ahead.

As it evolves I'll come back here and add and/or remove to this review.

I thought Final Fantasy games ported from mobile, then ported to PC, were bad. Well, today I got a new basis of what is a bad game and a bad port. This is a piece of sh**, and no one deserves the distress of playing, even for free.

Tries hard to replicate SotN in many aspects, but it fails to do so and has an average story, rushed and clustered with shoehorned themes. But don't get me wrong, even with those mistakes, it is still a good experience.
