Sweat shop Pokemon mixed with Ark. It's fun, but fairly shallow. The combat isn't the best in the world, and the Pal AI requires massive improvements. That being said, I spent almost 70 hours deep in cross breeding to get a Pal with 4 perfect passives and I had a great time doing it and felt a great feeling of accomplishment.

That feeling of accomplishment was somewhat diminished hearing that others just hack whatever stats they want onto their Pals, but that barely affects me, as I play in a single player world!

This is a great start working towards what can and will be a fantastic game. I am happy that someone filled this niche and cannot wait to see where it goes.

multiple unique playstyles, 59 missions, awesome voice work, amazing attention to detail in the decal creation. I've waited 20 years for this, and it was worth it.

deeply flawed and poorly paced. This game had a lot of promise, but quickly wears out its welcome. I found it impossible to develop any kind of attachment to any of the characters. The combat grew tedious within the first hour. And,the story leaves much to be desired. It's an excellent foundation for future development, but feels incomplete.

It only took 4 years after 1.0 release for the game to finally be out of Beta. Hello Games has worked hard to make this the game they claimed it was going to be. They've earned my thumbs up, finally.

You get to play as a Cat in a Hat, A Dual Wielding Dog, a Kick Birb, or a Thunder Kitty. Tons of guns, tons of fun. Buy this game immediately.

Starts to feel stale after the first few thousand hours.

It's a hot mess of bugs and poorly implemented game mechanics. Driving AI is nonexistent, no one has "day and night schedules" like it was advertised, and everything has been stripped to the bare bones. All that being said....This game is fun as hell.

I've sank 50 hours into it and will be playing for another 100 easily. I can't wait to try a new build with a stealth mono-wire playthrough.

This game has a few fairly unforgivable bugs/quality of life issues that I readily forgive because I'm having an awesome time riding friggin' Raptors!

I've played a LOT of this game. 30 hours is wrong. I've played more like 50 hours if you count all my time offline. It's a wonderful game with a fantastic feel. Harvest Moon inspired with a great pixel art aesthetic. All of this from ONE DEVELOPER over FOUR YEARS! Absolutely incredible. I have purchased the game multiple times to give away to people who didn't have it yet, and I don't feel bad about that at all.

Pros:
-RAPID resolution of bugs discovered by the userbase (CA puts out very regular patches)
-Whimsical atmosphere and pleasing aesthetic
-Entertaining side-quests and random missions to keep you engaged
-Edible Amethyst! Abigail, never change...
-Something for everyone! Farmers, Wine Vineyards, Honey Farms, Ranchers! Want to explore the world and forage? you can do that, too! Dungeons and combat as well for the adventurers
-Objectives presented in a clean and straightforward manner
-Endless! The game doesn't end after year four like Harvest Moon!
-Multiplayer to be added soon

Cons:
-Annoying bugs pop up from time to time, but never gamebreaking
-certain menus can be difficult to navigate, and you cannot change joystick sensitivity for gamepads
-It has utterly consumed my life. My family is growing concerned...
-Character randomly veers off in a direction you do not intend while holding down the A button on a controller
-Multiplayer isn't here yet.
