Non-refundable gamble that isn't guaranteed to actually give you game time.

The game hits me with a really abrasive beep in response to seemingly random actions. The game runs as smoothly as you would think an NES port would on a newer PC. (There's some visual stutters, but I am fairly certain my actual copy of Castlevania has that too)

More than happy to change this to positive and repurchase the game if that gets fixed, I'd actually be happy (feel free to comment if it does, my copy of C3 doesn't work in a Retron so this is my only option)!

I'm gonna give an honest review as a huge fan of the previous game. Shadow of War expands on Mordor just enough to be sequel worthy, there are more perks to build with, more immunities, weaknesses, attacks, etc. Ontop of that there is the added mode of siege and defense both offline and online.

You can tell the intention of the microtransaction is for those who want an easy in on higher level orcs for the invasions, but overall it is not at all needed or invasive. The in game currency is basically showered on you and the "gold" can be earned through weekly/daily quests after a certain point is reached in the game. Is it a bit goofy that they want you to pay extra for a game you already had to buy? A bit. Is it needed to enjoy the game? Not at all.

My only gripe is the grind itself. I am not referring to the amount of levels you need, there was no point I was "behind" in levels due to just playing the game as I enjoy it. The grind I'm referring to is the entirety of Act IV. This act consists of doing what I consider to be the most dull game mode SoW has to offer, siege defense. There are 10 chapters worth of it that fill up Act IV and overall I believe you have to do 20 defenses to reach the game's ending. Now the number seems small, but it's the same mundane defense over and over. If you're like me you were somewhere around your 40s when it started and it dumps so much exp on you that you'll catch up to 60. Your only options are to defend, or let them take the keep and then recapture it.

That combined with that fact that if you're 60 before the thing is done, there is almost no in game incentive to keep going. You've capped and by then you've definitely picked out all the perks you want to/can use by then. Top that off with the fact that the orcs you face in the last two stages are just stupidly hard. I don't mean they provide a fun challenge, I mean that they are enraged by everything and damaged by nothing. You'll end up just kiting them to your commanders because you're basically a fly distracting them.

I'd definitely suggest buying this game at the base form, more so on sale. Act 1-3 gave incredible story that I actually got pretty invested in, and the game play is a lot more fun than the first one as I never felt like I had to be a moron to die. And if you get to Act IV and you find yourself going "Wow, this sucks" and you don't consider yourself a completionist, just youtube the ending, it's still just as satisfying without grinding, I promise.

This is an enjoyable survival game where you have to survive out at sea using your ships escape pod. It's still in early access and shows a lot of love and care so far. The graphics are phenominal and the sea world is full of life. Crafting and harvesting in an ocean environment is still a pretty fresh concept, if you like survival games or exploration I'd highly suggest this.

A game that is likely to be fuel for youtube reactions this game has graphics that are below par with 3D consoles of the 90s. Unclear controls, lag from their own animations and a speed that's so fast you can't react to the things you need to dodge (assuming you see them or you're not going so fast that they don't even register the hit) makes this an unplayable mess not even worth the dollar. The third level literally has a ball that is a one hit KO that flies across the screen back and forth to fast right at the start that it is impossible to pass, making this game unbeatable.

Got it for 25 cents with a coupon, hoping the cards make back more than that.

Militia is a very simple but well thought out turn based strategy game on a small board where you control different units to kill monsters. Rank scales up in single player to determine your play level and it's very effective. The game is very addicting and easy to pick up all for a cheap price.

An addicting tycoon game where you mine and sell oil and diamonds, bidding on plots of land to mine for the year. Even in early access this game is fairly addicting and I've lost a couple hours of sleep playing it. It shows a lot of promise and I can't wait to see what further depth is going to come from it's developement.

A fun little game about running a shop, managing the displays and taking orders to make a profit on items. Even in early access it's a lot of fun, can't wait to see what further patches bring.

It's nice if you like Back to the Future but it's hardly customizable. For 2 bucks it's a neat car with a lot of love put into it but it'd be nice to see other decal options.
