Man, what can I say about this game? It's a Sokoban-like Puzzle game, where you need to find a way to reach the stairs to the next floor. You might need to dodge enemies, or push blocks onto switches to open the stairs... My only simple comment into the game would be "It's deeper than it looks. I'm still not 100% sure of the depth of it all."

The Music is several tracks that are all wonderful to listen to.

NOTE: This review was originally set to Negative for the actions of Playstation PC LLC. and Sony Entertainment, not the actions of Arrowhead or its developers. It has changed to Positive because sony has backed off on their "Plans" (See last paragraph).

Arrowhead wanted to create an epic evolving game that some people would already call it GOTY of '24. It is a barrel of fun, people from all walks coming together to have fun playing the game and teaching any tricks they might of picked up to others.

Sony looked at this, and decided they wanted to inflate their numbers on PSN to make themselves look better for investors... and hand a few million more accounts to hackers on a silver platter. After receiving over 250,000+ Negative reviews in a few days, they have decided to call this forced intagration off.

I'll be brutally honest here, I did not enjoy this game in the long run of things. If you want to keep enjoying the game yourself, just never touch any of the post game hunts, where equipment is expected to be min/maxed just to stand a chance against those fights. I could claim my major complaint is how extreme and unforgiving the later parts of the game are, forcing players to use a cookie cutout setup and strategy per the weapon they used, as nothing else would work.

Playing with random people can average between bepis McTanks-the-Floor, and the actual gods of Monster Hunter, with the weight leaning HEAVILY on the Former.

I tried to just play with a group of friends who also had the game, but I always felt like I was just the weak link in the group.

The complete lack of G-Gundam just ruins everything.
0/10, would spend another 100 hours playing it despite this fact.

A Trip back to an old school styled Castlevania-like. Graphics are kept simple, but pleasing to see, and (more or less) easy to tell them apart. Controls are very responsive, and allow you to flow in combat from one attack to the next.

Difficulty wise, I'd put it about the same as "first time though Dark Souls": The game WILL give you a beating, but it does use patterns that you can pick up on and figure routes around or though encounters with minimal effort.

Oh boy, This bad boy of the series. As someone who has played ALL of the other games in the series, this game clearly feels like all of the lessons Sega learned from the earlier games came to a full here for people to experiment with. The game overall has a good apeal to it, and really strike my niche for playing strategy games.
~I'm going to try to avoid talking about ANYTHING that could be a spoiler, only with a two direct things mentioned.~

~Graphics 9.7/10
Stellar capability with full resolution, still looks nice even with lower settings for low end PC performace. If there had to be a gripe that stuck with the older games, it would be the rigidness of some of the maps. It just feels a bit blocky. It's not that bad of a thing, but somewhere improvements can be made.

~Gameplay~ 9.9/10
Being a war game, having a good balance between the different unit types is an important thing. Most of your slower units though *I'm looking at you snipers and lancers* almost feel obligated to chug along for those pesky tanks and infantry you really don't want to deal with. However, I think the game devs noticed this too, and gave you deployment bases right around where you'd suddenly want a change to your attacking squad. There's also the APC as well who can ferry these slowpokes around with ease. *And the armor on that APC, I almost see it in the status of obsurd compared to VC2's APC...*

~Story 9.7/10
I love the story in this game. Sure it strikes close to our WW2 History, with contries moved around to protect their innocence, but it tells itself is a serious tone with underlying threads of silly here and there *See Raz*. My only gripe with this is the "Window box chatting" they do for the game. I really rather them use Cutscenes for the story pieces, or at least have it look like people are facing each other when they talk. Aside from that, the story elements themselves are a joy to read though inbetween the fights.

~Difficulty~ N/A
I really can't give a good rating to the difficulty of a game that allows you to set that bar where you want it to be. Want the game to be easy? Go grind a couple of missions, get your gear/units upgraded. Want a true challenge? Ignore those mechanics, and beat the game anyways. It allows more fluid approach then VC1 does, and keeps the idea of branching paths to reach your destination.

~Overall~ 9.8/10
The game is a fun strategy game to play with diverse mechancs to work with. It usually feels like you're outnumbered, and you push through the enemy toward your goal.

This game is great for all of the best reasons. If you have any love for rougelikes, get this, get it for friends, and proceed to do.... something against the world.

Elite Beat Agents meets the style of Beat Hazard in the format of an Endless runner? Add in the ability to customize running tracks, and this is golden.

A game where you get to play as a cute little fairy girl who beats people senseless. Very fun, and controller supported. Get's challenging quick, but that is actually a good thing, given how many games today practially spoon feed you wins.

Very Symbolic, somewhat on the grotesque side, but still worth a play. A must for fans of Rouge-Likes.
