After a brief time playing i can assure that this game is not the same game that was released over 4 years ago as a buggy mess.

This game is the next step in open-world story RPG games thanks to the huge and interesting world which is thanks to Maximum Mike Pondsmith who created the entire CyberPunk universe, the people at CD Projekt RED who was able to translate the world of Night City from a TTRPG to a full 3d world, and finally real-life architects who helped the city feel like a real one.

Not only is the game immersive, but it's got a story. What a story it has.

Now since i believe that everyone should experience this game with no clue of what is to come I wont spoil anything. But I can tell you that whatever you like, you will find in this game. You like grand FPS mayhem? This games got it. You like tactical stealth action? This games got your back. You like being immersed and fully Role-Playing as your character? This games got it. Everyone's happy (except for people who like RTS, there's only one section of that in the game). Safe to say that this game is recommended for everyone who has the power in their computer, whoo boy it needs power. This game is the only game that can struggle to hit 60 fps on native resolution on a 4090.

Very reccomended.

Battlefield is a unique game as it is rare for AAA fps shooters to go into the First World War, and it did it flawlessly.
The story: unlike past battlefield games and competitors like CoD, this game does not have a single story or campaign, it is instead split into war stories that are short deep dives into different parts of the war, tank warfare on the eastern front, fighting in the Italian alps, the famous Gallipoli campaign which is the first major naval operation in modern warfare and the first time Australians fought under their own flag, and this specific story + another one is the most talked about of the war stories Since it feels like we played an entire ten hour campaign in just three missions. The second story that is talked about is about the grandfather of the protagonist of battlefield 3 Clyde Blackburn, a pilot who crashed into no man’s land, and there things get strange, this story features similar types of mind bending story twists as black ops 1 which makes the story a very memorable one.
Battlefield is however not known for its story, but it’s bombastic multiplayer with large scale battles and destructible environments. After a while of playing the war stories you realise that each story is introducing a mechanic which is then only used in multiplayer, yes, it feels treacherous at first that the stories were just made to get you used to the games mechanics, but this also gives a sense that the multiplayer and campaign is not different, it’s both the same war. This game also introduced a game mode called operations, which was like a story on its own, people were put into teams as usual except when the game ends the winning team like in the real war would move onto the next attack, starting the next game. And a small sort of story would be built of a battle which is impacted by the players and who wins. It’s hard to explain really but it gives a good feeling of authenticity. Yes, you’re not laying in trenches all day so it is a heavily actionised version of WWI and thanks to that it gave us the greatest battlefield game of all time.

This may look like a wacky Minecraft clone (which it is) but it is not only that, this was a surprisingly challenging experience that will make you question what a “hard” game has to be. Let me run you through the game.

You get dropped into the world with no objective said, but instead your exploration is the progress towards the objectives which ultimately is to leave the island. You do this with the help of a boat that you have to repair through collecting wood, flowers, maybe kill a boss or… five. This may sound mild but I must remind you that there are no respawns so if you die you have to restart on another seed, plus you don’t have a lot of health most of the time so this is already challenging. Another point is that the difficulty modes are quite literally DIFFICULTy modes, easy is hard, medium is lethal, hard is realism. You go down in three hits and there is no real party or block or dodge system. This plus the fact that every five night they spawn a boss on you makes the game seriously difficult to finish thanks to the simplicity. This is the charm with the game, soulsikes have the charm of being hard but also having complex armour and magic systems meanwhile muck is so simple that it wouldn’t really make much of a difference in what weapons you use, because it will be hard no matter what. This is what gives the feeling of complexity to a simple game and the truth is that you could slap a 10$ price tag on this and nobody would bat an eye. The fun part? This game was made because of one insulting comment to the dev.

This is what is usually called the last good CoD game, and it went out in a bang, let me explain.
Campaign: The story is set in two parts, one takes place during the 80’s and continues the story of the characters of the last game. The second part takes place next year, 2025 which is about the son of the previous protagonist and the supporting character of the previous protagonist as an old man. The story is the most memorable in the villains, as it both deals with villains of the last game and their impacts and new villains that are created along the way, and the main show being Raul Menendez. What seems to just be a terrorist with a cult following turns out to be the next big threat to democracy through one big movement which is probably remembered in the hearts of each person that played this game “cordis die”. The way you play impacts the story and the choices you make all go towards one of the dozen endings there are, and you know the game is good when the canon ending is still being debated and that there is no clear good or bad. This memorability earns this game the title of a historical mastercraft to be remembered.
Multiplayer: This games multiplayer goes all out on player experience, custom emblems, personalisation packs. This game let’s each player feel special from the rest of the crowd, it welcomes more play styles with the large addition of new tools to use thanks to the futuristic setting and the dedication by the developers.
Zombies: This time treyarch got a little ahead of themselves. The main game maps felt like they were made to be boring so that players would buy the DLCs, the main map; Tranzit was made very complicated with a public transport system and the payoff is a very boring and simple Easter egg, treyarch knew what they were doing and players suffered thanks to that. Then when it was time for DLCs to be made treyarch suddenly became the Shakespeares of gaming, mob of the dead was beautiful, buried and die rise gave birth to a new crew, the victis crew which gave ultimate a competition, and finally: Origins. Origins is THE zombies map, with new versions of the ultimate crew, now primis crew that sets the stage for black ops 3 to excel in aether storytelling. The zombies experience is in black ops, the rich mans zombie experience is black ops 2.

Black ops 2 is a perfect blend of the classic black ops and the new 2025 aesthetic, giving a beautiful experience to be remembered. This is the game folks! The only issue is the large one, the price is still AAA standards which is way too high for a 12 year old game.

This is probably my all time favourite CoD, here’s a breakdown.
Campaign: The story of Black ops is a mind bending, fun, high octane experience through the Cold War. What first seems like a Vietnam shooter turns into a intelligence based spy thriller that relies on a mix of conspiracy theories and real history to create a memorable story with memorable characters that help bring the theme and story forward.
Multiplayer: CoD 4 is seen as the game that revolutionised multiplayer and mw2 mastered it, but Black Ops brought multiplayer to new heights with more customisation and fun maps like Nuketown which became one of the most iconic maps in CoD history (up there with rust and crossfire… terminals up there too I guess…) filled to the brim with fun guns like the FAMAS and the Galil, with the best looking camps too of the time.
Zombies: The zombies game mode in this game walked so the others could run. This game introduced Easter eggs which helped tell the story with better fleshed out characters. The zombies mode in this game brought only good maps; Kino der toten which helped players get introduced to the new systems like the pack-a-punch and perk machines and Five which proved to the players that there could be depth in the game mode if time was given to do it. Later with DLCs treyarch were able to use this to make the experiences “call of the dead” and “moon” which was the “infinity war” type event of the aether saga.

This game is overall a must buy game and is surprisingly actually worth the price tag for its age.

The campaign is creative and brings new ways to experience the story, with a good black ops 1 feel with the feeling of impacting the story like black ops 2, but the end feels lazy in a way with the try-tough woods and edgy mason with Adler just being insufferable.
The multiplayer is clunky and has an overall outdated feel to it, if you’re looking for a modern multiplayer CoD, play modern warfare 2019 instead.
Zombies was the biggest innovation in this game with load outs and non-specific class operators. This gives a warzone type of feel to the game and the new dark aether saga is not promising.
Overall the game is a mixed bag with a high price tag.

Perfect map of you just want a simple “get to the highest round you can” objective map high brings a feel of the simpler maps like Kino and Nacht, it is a little expensive for just one map though, but a great bonus for the premium edition or on a sale.

Basically the entire zombies game on WAW with one extra map with a cheap, cheap price. This is a must buy if you don’t wanna buy the zombies chronicles DLC for black ops III
