The Steam Stater Pack is a great little add on for anyone who wants to play using the Federation faction.

This starter pack will get anyone up and running pretty quickly. Wile the ships in the pack are really only designed for tactical officers your engineering and scince captains will benefit greatly from the other equipment included in the pack. In fact I still use the Resonance Cascade Modulator on my level capped characters for that extra bit of damage resistance when up against tough enemies. The only real downside is that there isn't an equivalent Klingon faction pack.

Buy it if you like Star Trek and want a good head start in the game

A great little F2P game where all the content is unlocked so no money need be spent at all; however to get the fullest experience you will want to spend some cash
